But you were born in Italy, so you have legal status (so you are technically not temporary). Just like I was born in Scotland and have legal status in the UK.

I would imagine you are going to find it really difficult to come to apply for asylum in Canada, due to the fact you were born in Italy.

You can consult a Canadian immigration lawyer if you want. Your focus should be on getting your citizenship established and then you can move to another EU country if you want.

I agree, the OP will have a much better chance of doing that, than trying to come to Canada I'm afraid. Then, you can move to any European country of your choosing freely. Sorry, it's not what you wanted to hear, but it seems more plausible to do it this way

E sarai rimandato in Marocco.

[/ QUOTE]

during Ramadan I ate in the street and they put me in prison
it does not seem to me that morocco is as democratic as you say

in europe I can not do asylum
because I'm resident in Italy
but within a year my residence expires
in Italy I suffered several injustices
I was born in Italy and I do not have Italian citizenship
because there was a mistake and I suffered several abuses
I hate Italy and I hate morocco and I have millions of reasons

my question is what requirements it takes to become a refugee in canada

if they send me back to morocco, they put me in prison because morocco
he does not want the Moroccans to take refuge as refugees
and in Italy I have nothing
Sorry you sound like an asylum shopper.

1. Italy is declared a safe country by Canada.
2. I am not saying that there are not stupid people in Italy, but Italy is a democratic country. So should you be discriminated, you had legal ways how to deal with that
3. Italy does not give citizenship just because you were born there. There is set of rules (just like in Canada) when such citizenship is given. And again if you feel that there was mistake in your case you have legal ways how to request your rights. (which can go as high as to the EU justice system).
4. having temporary residency somewhere does not prevent you to put down refugee claim (it so happens that situation in your home country might change - war and such; and such claim can be justified).
5. Your case with food (with the big question what was the full detail there), is way way not enough to able to claim asylum (for example my thinking as a tourist in Islamic country would be not to anger them with food if they are hungry during Ramadam and eat nicely at home in private or somewhere where I am not seen). Same goes for kissing in public, being semi naked for males or even holding hands for unmarried couples.
6. There are millions of people that would gladly swap your life in Italy and the possibility to claim asylum there.
7. If a country is trying to improve, then the last thing they want their citizens to make false asylum claims abroad (which makes it much more difficult to negotiate better travelling rights for their citizens). So they can have certain laws dealing with such cases - financial fine or detention and a trial if such thing is against the local law. (false asylum claim can be classified as a fraud and deal with accordingly).

So with all said above you have very low chance to succeed in Canada.
And of course once you will have one failed asylum claim, your chances to get visa to any western country are close to 0. It just so happens that Canada not only cooperates with USA, but also with other countries (Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, EU..)

now you can imagine for example like this you was born in canada your parents is from morocco for example
you have lived your whole life in canada and you were born in canada
your real country is canada
and you find yourself without documents and irregular because of the Italian state
and all your family members are Canadians
this is my situation

I was abused by the Italian state killed me inside
that's why I chose to come to Canada and start a new life
I'm sorry but your situation doesn't make much sense.

Yes, Italian citizenship is based on the principle of Jus Sanguinis, which means no birthright citizenship. However, foreigners born in Italy who have lived in Italy for 3 years can apply for Italian citizenship. This doesn't come automatically. You need to apply for it.

If you have been living in Italy for your whole life as you claim, you should apply for Italian citizenship. I doubt Italy, being an EU member state with due process, will arbitrarily deny your citizenship application if you're eligible, and if for some reason they do I'm sure you will have recourse of some sort.

You have a residence permit until 2019, which means you're not "irregular."

Your odds in Canada, especially if you're eligible for Italian citizenship, is practically nill.

I suggest you contact an Italian immigration/citizenship lawyer to check your options.
