Hai friends, me too sailing in the same boat as you. I gave my ielts through IDP. and they too have send a message resembling this same but has said they will update by 16th, that's next Friday. But its not an assurance
I don't understand something, when they think there's a problem in one batch why can't they solve the problem with that batch and then take up the other batch for exam inside?
Just think about people who gave their exam by 6th Jan, and who are really eligible but still lost their draw due to this delayed results? Everyone gets frustrated. Literally I was broken today. My 10th, 12th, or UG results has never made be go crazy like this
I'm not able to sleep peacefully friendsThey should release all results or nothing...it’s very frustrating to have someone with same day getting result and we are waiting like frog on lake...
What have we done wrong??
If you release then release for all and not after 13 day but take 21 and give it for all
Really this is the most unmanaged exam I have ever took where result dates are not given
And that also without specific reasons
How come scrutiny take months as they have to check writing and speaking..listening and reading are computer based ...to check one essay how can they take months??
What to do now wait or book and invest another money..it’s not easy to give test after test
We also have constraints...we also have parents asking for updates ...I put my 2 months for Ielts and now m not sure what to do
They wasted my whole jan to March
It’s not easy to give 3 months for one result and what if we don’t get required band
This means either u waste money or time
So frustrating
Really I feel that on 19th also we r not going to get it..they are plying with candidates as we don’t have other option and they know their monopoly

You are absolutely right. If they can't guarantee results within the turnaround time for a batch, it is unethical for them to continue subsequent exams.
If they delay it further it is our duty to inform new test takers to watch out and not meet the same fate as us.
You are absolutely correct.....but don’t you think they should at least give final date, though it may be more than actual time So that we can decide what to do next..
At least that is expected form them
That exactly is the problem..they mention update on that date...if they talk about results then it’s okay even if they take a week more
Is completely alright if they are late by couple of weeks but you may also know about situation of 6th jan exam candidates...they r still waiting
I am not against the procedure...it’s ultimately of good for us and that is okay but proper information should be given..just give the final result date...so that I can decide on putting my money again
It’s my second language and I can’t predict at .5 precision
I have take decision before 19 for test in March coz here in India seats are limited but candidate are not
And yes they already have given these terms and conditions while applying but at the same time they should respect our constraints
