Visa chances for study when submitted application for Express Entry pool

Hi there,

I enrolled myself in the Express entry pool 2 years ago and my account is still active, waiting for PNP or Canadian immigration to give me the PR. I took this step and thought of studying once I am given the PR so that the study would cost me less. Now since, it has been 2 years and got not luck with that , I do not want to waste my time and avoid my Studies. I wanna apply for MBA this intake in Canada and require study visa, but some sources have confirmed me that study visa may not be granted since you dropped an application already for Immigration.

Will I be granted study visa if I drop from Express entry? What are the chances of it? Please advise!!
