Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Thanks, but isn't that equivalent to applying under CEC then which the minimum requirement is to have 1 year work experience in Canada?
It is not equivalent. If you have a valid job offer you'd be able to claim 50 extra points that applicants with an open work permit for example wouldn't be able to claim with a year of Canadian work experience.

So you can either: apply as a FSW applicant without a valid job offer.
OR: apply as a CEC applicant with a year of Canadian work experience AND a valid job offer.

@TanakaM I have entered all the credentials appropriately but still I can’t see the option for two or more degrees or diplomas. I have written an email to IRCC but as usual, I still haven’t received a reply. If I choose Bachelors, my points reduce. If I choose Masters, my point increase but that would mean I lie. Chosing either options is not good for me. I can’t even call the IRCC as people from outside India canno’t call the number. I don’t know what to do. I don’t have any option but to wait for IRCC to reply. That is the reason I shared my problem here.

There is no option that says two or more....
Have you done the following?

1. Xyz uni... Bachelor's degree .... 2010
2. And uni... diploma..... 2015

If you have, the system should give you the correct points.

Yes I have done that, but after adding each eductaional credential, there comes an question asking level of education. In that it is mandatory to select an option. If I Don’t select anything, I don’t get points for education. So last time I selected masters as an option I got 7 points extra which caused the problem.

For bachelor's degree select bachelor's degree and for the diploma I'm sure there is a diploma option. Please take a screen shot of the option you are getting.

My husband is the main applicant.

I have work experience but not in Canada. Do I have to put it on our profile or can I put no? I read something about putting it in the e-APR. I'm not claiming any points and I don't want to have to ask them for an experience letter.

Is that allowed? Has anyone done it?

Hi guys,

I received my ITA in the last month and my application and supporting documents are ready for submission except the PCC from one city where I stayed merely 5 months back in 2010 - 11. I have secured the PCCs for all other placed where I stayed throughout my life, within my country and abroad. Following are the details:

1. From birth till 2007 (City A) – Received PCC

2. From 2007 to October 2010 (City B) – Received PCC

3. From Oct 2010 – Feb 2011 (City C) – Waiting for the PCC for this duration.

4. From March 2011 – January 2013 (City D) – Received PCC

5. From January 2013 – January 2015 (Overseas) – Received PCC

6. From February 2015 – present (City D) – Received PCC.

I am waiting for the PCC from “City C”, as mentioned above, for the last one month as someone else, on my behalf, is following up the process. Not sure when I would be able to get it. This is a remote city in my country and travelling there cost me time, which I can’t afford at present. I wonder if it would be a problem submitting my application without my PCC from “City C” mention above. Please help.

Cheers!

Don't show any work ex in your EE profile if you're not claiming any points for it. On e you get the ITA you can show it under Employment in Personal History.

Which country's city do you need the pending PCC from? Check the rules in case you just need one PCC for the country instead of one for each city.

Hey guys,

I have a question for one of my relative who is applying for Express entry. He has more than 1 year experience in Canada now and with his current profile and canadian experience the CRS tool shows score of 421. But it changes if i selected 0 experience in step 2 as follows:

1) In the process it ask do you have work experience in Canada - I selected 1 year or greater as he has that
2) The second step was how many years of total skilled work experience do you have - What should i select here ? 1 or 0. The only experience he has is the one he got in canada.

Also he has done one year full time certificate course and will use that as an educational qualifications. He is not doing evaluation with WES for Bachelors as he will not claim points for that. Will he be eligible?

He should select "0" if he doesn't have any foreign work experience.
