I just called them up - my photos were received on the 12th....the agent refused to tell me which day photos they are processing - all he said was my envelope has been opened and it has gone into production - he also refused to tell me how long in production it will be . I need to fly to the us in eleven days . Can soneobe please tell me what it means that the card is in production and how long it takes since then ??
So anyone knows at what rate CIC works on new photos received for the PR Card?
If this week they are working on Photo Requests of Dec 7th, when could we expect them to be working on the batch for the end of December?

I landed in Toronto on 17th Jan and since i didnt have permanent residence address the immigration officer at the airport told me to update the address online when i have it after 15 days. And accordingly my PR card would be couriered in that address.
Now i have been visiting the online CIC site since 2-3 days and after providing the required details like UCI etc. its showing the message that my application is not found. How is that possible?
Pls guide me, i have searched everything online and completely confused now. Thanks in advance.

Even I landed on Dec 11. Mine is not update yet, but good to know that they have come to that date.

I landed at Vancouver peace arch borader
Sent a couple enquires telling them I will have a schedule flight shortly. The only useful thing they got back to me was that they didn't have my address in the system, even I've provided to them. Anyways I updated my address again. Don't know if this helped speed up my process but it got approved faster than I thought.
So keep bothering them if you really have problems with processing time. Maybe they will put a mark for your case.
I can now hope to get the card before I leave, which will be wonderful that I won't have to apply for PRTD at my country.

I landed recently and applied for PR card at the airport immigration. But I told the officer that I will mention the card delivery address later.
When you guys say card was approved, did you get some notification for that or did you have the PR card application linked to the CIC site and got notification from there like the PR application?
Also will they start processing my PR card application only after I provide them an address?

I called them today and they told me that PR card was mailed to me on 9th Jan. Now I am worried cz it's been over 20 days now. I hope it's not lost

Mine was mailed on Jan 5th but I haven’t received it either. I can’t apply for a lost card till it’s been 6 weeks. Have you come across other people who have faced the same problem?
