Spouse PR sponsorship

Hi Forum,
I am a Canadian PR. I landed Toronto as a PR July 2015.
I am getting married in the month of July 2018.
I would like to know how do i proceed with bringing my spouse to Canada. She is presently living in India.
My expectation is:
1. i wanted to bring my spouse immediately after marriage.
2. As she has working experience i like to explore the possibility of finding her a job in Toronto.
3. While she is working i wanted to get her PR also processed.

Experts opinion is really needed for me to proceed further.

Your spouse will need to apply for a TRV (tourist visa) in order to come to Canada with you immediately after marriage. It can be difficult to get a TRV approved if your spouse is Canadian. She may want to consider applying before she gets married. To be approved, she will want to demonstrate that she has strong ties to her home country (employment, assets, property).

If the TRV is approved, she can come to Canada with you once you are married and then you can sponsor her through the inland route. If she is not approved, you will need to travel to Canada alone and sponsor her using the outland route. You will need to largely remain in Canada while the application is being processed.

She will not qualify for a work permit through marrying you. To qualify for a work permit, she must come to Canada on a TRV and you must then sponsor her through the inland route and include an open work permit application. The work permit will be approved a few months after you submit the sponsorship application.

Otherwise she would need to find an employer willing to give her a job offer and that employer would have to obtain an approved LMIA in order for her to qualify for a closed work permit. It tends to be extremely difficult to find employers willing to go through the LMIA process.

In addition to above, you can try Express Entry route provides that your spouse qualify with points and can get an ITA in the next draw. Also the process completes within 6 months. I was looking through this option and since my spouse didn’t have enough points I didn’t go this route.
