Ok so why to renew your EE Profile:

1. Ontario can send out app. 2500 nominations certificates for EE.
2. That is app. 2000 for HPC (rest will go to the French stream and FST)
3. They might want to issue NOI 3-4 times per year. Which is like 800-1000 NOI each time (including those that will be never accepted).
4. We have app 14k active EE profiles that have CRS 400+ (and almost all save for PNP, do meet their criteria)
5. And there is an officer that has to confirm manually where to send NOI.

So what do you think, what approach will they have yet again?
99% sure, that it will be LIFO again (last in first out). As the most recent profile tend to have most active applicants.

That is the reason for EE re-creation.
As until now, they were only inviting profiles that were just few days old and they have completely ignored all older profiles (and yes, that included French stream as well).
Yes, I too felt they do the picking of the recent profiles knowingly even though they blame it on a technical glitch!! :)

Hi does oinp nominates someone if he has a non- Canadian degree but not yet assessed by a ECA body? My point is 438
Without ECA, you cannot enter the express entry pool and Ontario sends NOIs only to those in the express entry pool under the HCP program.

Any possibility of draw today ????????????
Interesting question!
Nobody is even thinking about a draw today as all are waiting for OINP to start issuing NOIs. Even if a draw happens it would go unnoticed :)

Hello,
I have received ITA,and working on post ITA documents. I have received a reference letter from my employer but it does not contain annual compensation details. So I am planning to attach salary slips and compensation letter separately. Do I need to attach a LoE mentioning why I don't have this in reference letter and that I have attached salary slips?

Hi,

Regarding OINP, Could someone please clarify about following matters:

1) OINP is going to nominate 6,600 immigrants in 2018 according to their latest announcement, so the question is what proportion of that figure will be allocated to the program "Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream"?

2) Do they mainly select candidates with work experience in Information and Communications Technology-related occupations? Is there any chance for other occupations such as civil/mechanical/electrical engineers to receive NOI?

3) Based on CRS distribution until 4th January, there are almost 19,000 candidates with crs between 400 and 446, and we all know that people with good crs scores (I mean above 400) are entered the pool on a daily basis. Therefore, the number of OINP allocation for 2018, which is 6,600, is far less than the potential candidates. I was wondering what their criteria is for choosing people? Is it really just based on the date that one submits their profile?

Thank you in advance.
I would greatly appreciate it if a senior kindly gives me some advice about the issue above.

The possibility of three draws in January is still not over. We still have the dates of 24th as well as 31st January and The openings of PNP might help the CRS scores to go down #rayofhope.
Even those who get NOI are active applicants in the EE pool and would get direct ITA if their CRS is above the cut off. Also, on the other hand the PNP applicants are the ones who jump to scores above CRS 600 and keep the cut off higher though the ones getting the NOI now would take sometime to get the nomination.

Guys is it true that some people get their pr in 20 days.

That’s really great!
Yes, there are some lucky folks who get PPR in 20 days or so after submission of PR application (post receiving ITA).

Not required. Salary slips and compensation letter would be sufficient. Mine was the same case.

1) I am not sure about the exact numbers but it could be roughly around 2500-3000 nominations under HCP for the whole year.
2) They have not mentioned about the NOCs they prioritize. As they had issued ICT NOC specific NOIs last year in June for folks below CRS 400, there is an assumption that they prioritize ICT NOCs.
3) They have not revealed how they would be selecting the limited numbers for the nomination from the 20K pool size above CRS 400. Based on the past experiences, newer profiles are seen to get NOIs so that's one of the techniques which can be used by applicants as apart from that there is nothing which an applicant can do.

Guys please intimate if you receive an NOI because many including me are just craving for this crucial moment
Also, it would help to mention profile creation/recreation date so that others can do accordingly.

Question to forum:
Does the opening of OINP impact cut-offs in the short term?

Question to forum:
Does the opening of OINP impact cut-offs in the short term?
Not in the short term because after sending noi there is a period of 45 days for the applicants to accept and send the documents.
Ontario then accepts and nominates the applicant in a month or two which gives the additional 600 points. This addition to large number of applicants will reflect the pool and thereby cutoff may increase
