My nomination took more than 6 months (got PFL for a very stupid thing which was clear on my EE profile). So not everyone get nomination within 60 days. Actually none of the july 2017 applicants got nomination within 60 days.

PNP is also slower than FSW therefore its better to wait for the CRS to drop (if your score is around 430s) than to go with nomination.

Hi, What do you think about 435? How long one has to wait to get an ITA with that score? I am very worried actually

It's like ontario will mess this next draw up with the recent wave of nominations.
nomination is not so easy pal. after they are sending noi, one will have to accept the noi within 45 days time. then, after accepting he needs to apply within 2 weeks time. then after he make the application, ontario will take around 15-60+ days to send nomination & only after that he can enter the pool with his enhanced points. so, it will take at least some time for an applicant to have an impact on the pool.

Don't worry, it takes time to gather documents and submit a cimpelete application. Then Ontario should process applications and it may take 1 to 2 months.

Well two things.. if your birthday is coming up then go for OINP... that way ull have 600+ points and u will be relieved as they don't reject applications and ull definitely get 600 points but the process is longer and more paperwork.

If not, the score will come down to 435 by march or april if they do draws every 2 weeks.

They probably would.. As they have already given nominations to a handful from 2018's quota (it also includes me)
I know the process, what I am talking about is the number of people they just nominated. Probably those who applied towards the end of 2017. There has been a lot lately.

Ok so why to renew your EE Profile:

1. Ontario can send out app. 2500 nominations certificates for EE.
2. That is app. 2000 for HPC (rest will go to the French stream and FST)
3. They might want to issue NOI 3-4 times per year. Which is like 800-1000 NOI each time (including those that will be never accepted).
4. We have app 14k active EE profiles that have CRS 400+ (and almost all save for PNP, do meet their criteria)
5. And there is an officer that has to confirm manually where to send NOI.

So what do you think, what approach will they have yet again?
99% sure, that it will be LIFO again (last in first out). As the most recent profile tend to have most active applicants.

That is the reason for EE re-creation.
As until now, they were only inviting profiles that were just few days old and they have completely ignored all older profiles (and yes, that included French stream as well).

Good Luck Everyone who is planning OINP route! I would do it myself if not for being attached to Alberta already.

Now we will have 6,600 profiles in EE with high CRS. Maybe that will push more ITA's ;)
Hi Thay, just wondering if you've applied or looked into AINP? I would like to apply under their "Engineering Occupations Category", but I can't tell if ALL of the minimum requirements have to be met or just ANY of them have to be met. I'm thinking they all have to be met but don't want to assume. What are your thoughts?

Minimum Requirements

Applicants may be eligible if they meet the following requirements:
  • Intend to live and work in Alberta permanently;
  • Be currently residing in Alberta;
  • Have evidence of education/training and experience as an engineer, designer or drafter; and
  • Currently be working or have worked in last two years in Alberta for an Alberta employer.

The way it is worded, all of them would have to be met.
The only good news is, that you do not need to work as an engineer (as that is not specified). But you have to have diploma (also again no need to have Alberta licencing), you have to intend to stay in Alberta (this one is obvious for a PNP), you must live there legaly (obviously as a termporary resident (but since it is not specified, it can even be extended visitor visa), and you must have work experience in Alberta.

Gppd luck

The birthday is on end June, so do you think I should take the risk or go with OINP? They have only a small quota & so many applicant above 400-425 ll be applying, so dont you think even OINP is a gamble? What is your advice considering the scenario @ANAMAZING ?

First of all they dont send NOI to all the EE profiles. It depends on the NOC. You should check if they have sent NOI to ur noc previously. They send NOI to specific people and they also have a quota for that.

Secondly If i were u, i would wait for CRS to come down... This whole OINP process was extremely painful for me as there is no GCSM service available for PNP and the person on the phone tells you nothing about the application. They just ask u to wait.

Hi.. need advice.. I have created my sis EE profile on Jan 03/2018 with NOC code 3113 and her current CRS is 414.. What are the chances for NOI from OINP and should we recreate profile or wait for a day? Usually when they start sending NOI after opening?

Good chances for NOI as I received it as well (my noc 3113).
Im not sure if they have started giving NOI as they did that in feb and june last year.
