Good morning. So my application was Delivered Nov 2 and didn’t get AOR. So I called CIC this morning and the agent said noting was on the system and said I should give her my tracking number and also my citizenship receipt payment number that she is going to email the office. Got my AOR without 15 mins of getting of phone with her. So my question when you get AOR does that mean the citizenship application is okay?

AOR is acknowledgement that your application is received by CIC. That's all it means. Whether the application is okay? You will know that from their next communication. Hope it helps.

AOR is your acknowledgment of Receipt. You will get it either by email (if email id mentioned in your application) else by mail. Once applicant gets AOR, the status is available online (known as ECAS) within 24-48 hrs of receiving AOR.
