Hello... My self Manpreet Lottay. I came to Canada on 21 dec 2017 with My wife. as we Apply for trv on Augest 2017. we got rejected. Again my petera Jncle able to allowed me Letter from Member of parliment from Vancouver. we got visa for 6 months with single entry. I want to conform that is it possible to get work permit while we came to canada on MP’s concern. So is it possible to get legal work permit.

You must first obtain a job offer and a approved LMIA first in order for you to apply for a work permit. The LMIA must be filed by the employer and not the applicant themselves. LMIA will cost $1000 and 4 to 6 months process time. The employer must demonstrate no Canadian Citizens and PR are able to do the job.

It's extremely difficult to get a work permit. You should assume you will not be successful.

The MP letter that your uncle got was to convince immigration that you were true visitors and had plans to return to your home country after your stay in Canada.
