Police Cert with PR inland app?

Current rule is:
We encourage you to get your police certificates in advance to avoid delays. You can submit police certificates with your application (if you have them), even though you don’t need to do this for your application to be considered “complete”.
So your choice. Doing them later reduces the risk of becoming outdated during the process, though.

Ok just curious, since I have been in canada and I am going to extend again, how long will my Police certs be good for with the CIC? Since I wouldn't have entered the states againHey, whaddya know, they've changed things again

A police certificate is valid to be submitted up to six months after it has been issued. (But according to your other thread, you won't need any - not in US long enough, and none needed for Canada unless they need the extra info to clear you).

I think I will still request one after submitting my PR app, in case they do end up requesting one. Thanks!
Should I also pay the right of permanent residency with the app? Or is it ok to wait? If I wait how long does it delay usually?
If you can afford to pay the RPRF at the time you pay the application fee, it gets the whole thing done a bit quicker. If you don't, they'll just have to request it after approval - will likely add at least a week or so to processing time.

Is there anything I should look into getting done before sending in the PR app that is time consuming? I am a few months away from sending it so I just want to be aware of anything like that
Most time consuming thing is normally gathering evidence. Other than that, most of what you need to do is waiting. The forms themselves take maybe a couple of hours. Fingerprints for RCMP might be a bit but most people don't need them, and you'll only do it if asked. Look up your nearest panel physicians on the IRCC website, they might have a backlog and take a few weeks to give you an appointment (again, now only needed when asked).
