Guys Need help...I am an Inland applicant (VO OTTAWA) ,I have submitted my application on 27th October 2016, its been more than 14 months and still waiting for PR. CIC web site shows processing time as 14 months. Submitted web form no reply yet. Last GCSS notes shows Eligibility recommended pass, Security : Not started, Criminality: In-progress. As the processing time has crossed what is the best way to contact? Can we do anything other than waiting for a communication from CIC?
SAme Situation here. Applied Oct 13, 2016. I even asked for GCSS notes and havent get any respond yet!!! I have applied 3 times for GCSS notres, OCt NOV DEC 2017. havent heard from them. I am planning to call them at the beginning of next week. :(

I can understand your situation...I applied the GCSS notes on 12 sep 2017 and got it on 19 December 2017. Everywhere everything is running late...14 months is a long time..if they are not meeting the processing time mentioned in the CIC website they should mention the reason and revised processing time so that people can plan accordingly..very frustrating....

A new thing i just read about landing (for inland applicants) , seems a good thing for those selected.

We are running a pilot project to confirm some clients who are already in Canada as permanent residents over the telephone.

We will contact you by email or through your IRCC online account to take part. If you get an email, the sender’s email address will end in “@cic.gc.ca”. The message will explain next steps.

Learn about confirming permanent residence by telephone.

Link isn’t working yet so i suppose they are working on this now.

No response yet. In automatic reply it says 10 business days. I also just spoke to an agent over phone and she says 14 months is average processing time some application (so vague) takes more than 14 months.

If you have crossed 14 months processing time ..than raise another CSE you should get response other than standard automatic reply...

Yeah i know this one is automated one which you get within hrs after submitting CSE , CIC usually respond to query after 7-10 days if your file is within timline they will say so ... if it has crossed processing time than they should give reason ...

if you haven't received any reply after this automated mail ... you should raise another CSE ....
