No updates to report... Just that today marks 5 months since AOR2 and BGC still says "not applicable."
Medical has also expired recently. So I'm sure that will bring about some nice additional delay in our application.

Have any of you received any updates from your respective VOs lately post Christmas ?
Also, Is there any one who faced issues with Medical exam and was requested Furtherance letter from embassy ?

I have noticed that as time dwindles down and my application slowly gets closer to that 12 month mark... I am becoming more and more anxious everyday wondering if this process will continue past that mark?

Funny enough what I was scared of happening has become reality. After calling IRCC, there's an automated message on my application saying that the approximate processing time is now 14 months...
For once, I wish my gut instinct was wrong :(

Hello everyone,

last week, I got a mail from government saying that the process is almost over and needed to send some documents to visa office in tokyo and that they would send them to manilla after which I would get a reply within 90 working days.

2 days after I send my documents, I get new message from government saying my status is updated, so I log into my account, and it is written that the final decision was made, please read the final decision lower. I look lower and it is written, your application was approved, please read the message lower. And there was no message lower....
That website has always been quite glitchy and never really showed me my messages... took me 8 months before they finally displayer my background request message.

What should I do now? I suppose I will get some documents from manilla eventually and then I can just go to canada and request my PR card and then finished?

Not sure what kind of message I was supposed to read... wonder if it is important...

It is also weird that I get a reply only 2 days after I send documents... I would have expected documents sent to manilla to take longer than that just to arrive.... any thoughts?

Happy New Year Everyone!! Keep our hopes high!! PPR is on its way :):):) Welcome 2018!!!
