Hi everyone,
Please advise me, I have a complicated issue.
I got ITA on December 20th, 2017 draw.
My concern is my Work experience & proof of funds. My NOC for EE was 1215 - Supervisor Supply Chain, tracking & Scheduling of which I have 5years experience in. but I lost my job January 2017 & became self employed since then, it is my company and it is registered.

My question is this, do I need to submit references for my self employed job? Most of the jobs I did during this self employed period were not documented so I may not be able to get bank references, invoices & transaction receipts etc to upload online on my profile. If I leave it out & just base my ITA document work references on my NOC selection for ITA alone, is there any implication in doing that?
Meanwhile, my EE profile reads my 1year self employed job and the 5years NOC 1215.

Furthermore, I just got a new job to resume 1st week in January 2018, do I need to update this new role in my ITA profile before I submit? The issue is that I only have the employment letter and cannot go to ask the HR of this new establishment for a reference to Canadian immigration, I am just resuming there and do not want to raise any red flag or risk losing this new managerial job.

For Proof of funds, is there any harm in getting 100% gift as proof of funds from my father? I know gifts are allowed by my concern is the 100%.
Please respond please.

Hi @TanakaM & others,

I am planning to apply for my PCC in advance before getting my ITA. Let's say at least 2 weeks before I receive my ITA & 3.5 weeks before I submit my application. The validity of the PCC in my country is 3 months, in this scenario, is it prefferable to apply for the PCC in advance or I should wait for my ITA then apply for the PCC?

I am currently sitting at 435 and I am assuming that I might receive my ITA by January.

Hi,

Don't mention them in the EE. Post-ITA you can mention them in the personal history section of the application where no evidence is required.

Hi,

As nothing is guaranteed with CIC, I would wait until getting the ITA.

It also depends on how long it takes to get the PCC. If it takes long go for it, if not wait.

Happy holidays

Hi,

Firstly, it's ok to be currently unemployed.

You don't have to claim points for your self employment. Just claim points for the 5 years. So in your eAPR remove the 1 year self employment and enter it in personal history alone. Explain this in your LOE.

Mention the new job in personal history where no evidence is required.

This will have no impact on your application as long as you remain above 67 eligibility points. I'm sure you will.

With regards to POF, it's ok for it to all be a gift from a parent.

Happy holidays

Hi Friends
I need your advise on how to proceed with this tricky WES evaluation scenario that I'm currently in.

I want to get my transcripts from one of the Associations in New Delhi India. Unfortunately when I called them up, they said they dont provide transcript services but they can provide attestation on all the certificates if I take it to them and they can also seal and sign the envelope flap.

However the tricky situation that I'm in, is that the semester certificates and the consolidated certificates which I got from them, has got only the Subject Codes and not Subject names. I have provided sample of how my consolidated certificate looks like. I'm just worried that WES cant identify what subject I studied by looking at the codes :(

Apart from the consolidated certificates which I have got from them, I also have my Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) certificate but again, that doesnt have any of the subjects which I studied. It just merely says I have done my PGDM in Finance. Please see reference affixed too.

How to proceed friends :(

Hi,

I would suggest, along with the attestation of the certificates you have from the university, get a letter from them explaining that their consolidated mark sheets only include codes and then explain what the code and the corresponding subject names are in the letter and get this also attested and signed by the academic registrar or any competent authority if possible. Then ask your university to include this letter in the envelope, get it sealed and signed. Send this to WES, I am quite sure they will approve.

Hello people, I just opened a profile with Express Entry, anticipating to apply for a PNP to be opened early next year. Please what and what do I need to do? Do I need to apply for EOI, after stating the province of interest on Express Entry profile? Do I also need to fill an application @jobseeker.as a pharmacist? Kindly guide.

Hi,

You just select the provinces that are of interest to you, then if you qualify they will contact you with EOI.

It is no longer compulsory to register with the job bank.
