hi guys,

My parents are in Canada now and I applied for their sponsorship (2nd round). They are to return home by Feb 2018. Granting that my sponsorship will be approved and eventually CIC will ask for police clearance, are they supposed to get a police clearance from Canada as well since they have stayed here for more than 6 months? or is it just the home country's police clearance that CIC requires?
Any feedback would be much appreciated. TIA!

For Canadian PCC, CIC will conduct clearance themselves. They just need PCC for all countries outside Canada if they had stayed in any other country (offcourse from India as well).

I tried this option using the receipt number, I got a message " The application number you entered does not match the category you selected or is not valid for the transaction you are performing."

My receipt number starts with RXXXXXXXXX.

I have tried many attempts using UCI - Family name, Family name, given name and DOB...No. of family memebers...I had tried 2,3,4 options...but still unable to link my application to my account.

I am part of the initial draw and my application was received on Aug 04 2017. I never received any communication from CIC after that. I am not sure if there is something wrong with my application or my application was rejected...

I am +ve hopefully I might hear something by end of the year.....

Are you trying to see your applcation status or linking it? This was about checkng status in Ecas

Finally I received a letter from CIC that my application is accepted. Dated 05 Dec 2017. Did not receive e-mail though. Please update the spreadsheet.

Are you trying to see your applcation status or linking it? This was about checkng status in Ecas

Looks like i was trying too hard...thanx for the clarification...Now, I have the file number, I shall check both...

On my GCkey I noticed" your action required " last updated on 30th November, 2017
But I don't receive any email regarding any action which I need to take .

Please confirm if someone in same situation actually my application approved from Canada now file transfer to Delhi. I am Representative in my parents sponsorship.
