I got the email at 1st Dec as well, supposed to have and telephone interview between 9:30~12:00 today, but I got a call just now (at 7:30, 2 hours earlier and I was still sleeping....come on this is not as you said in the email, I already consider the time difference between Montreal and Vancouver), and I haven't received coPR yet...

The lady told me to mail back the document once I have it, and someone will contact me for reschedule, but this time it won't be an express landing, but a normal procedure, which means I need to go to the border, do process like everyone else.

I still don't get why they make this so confusing...it just costs me another two weeks of waiting, let alone christmas holidays are coming, gosh I wish to get it done before holidays so much...
Are you in different time zone when compared to the time zone from where interview will be held(can be determined based on email that was sent to you)

OMG :( ... I'm so sorry man sigh. I think you should try calling them early tomorrow and ask again if you really need to send it back to them.
I called them today and informed that I received COPR in mail yesterday 2 hours after the call. She told nothing can be done now and i have to return it without signing and go through normal landing process.

I'm so sorry about this. Is there any info/indication as to where the CoRP was mailed from? and also, do you mind sharing the city you live in? I'm thinking this is a mailing time issue more so than if the pilot project is actually working.
I got mail from Montreal (mail says it was dispatched on 6th Dec). Its a regular mail. I live in Ottawa and I received it in second half of 11th Dec. My interview was scheduled on 11th Dec 8.30 to 11.30. I wish I had interview on 12th or later. I now have to painful normal landing process.

sorry to hear that @vaibhav.kamat.
which number did you contact?
how about sending another email to the one you got regarding express landing?
sending another email doesn't hurt you...

Hey the bright side to this is YOU HAVE BEEN GRANTED PR! That is still something to be happy about! Don't let this whole landing process take away from the joy you should be feeling. Many people are still waiting since May, June, and July, stuck in security checks... others have gone 6+ months and others a year so be happy and thankful that it all worked in your favour no matter how you have to do your landing my friend. :):):):):):p:p:p:p

You got the email on Dec 1st, but when did you confirm availability? same day or day after? because it seems your letter was dispatched too late on Dec 6, that's 5 days after you received the email and assuming your confirmed the same day.

Hi guys, just wanted to give you an update. Like a few of you I received the email regarding a telephone landing on December 6th and I responded right away letting them know I could make my appointment on December 15th. I heard nothing since then and emailed to follow up with them which also had no reply.

I finally got through to them on the phone (after a solid week of trying) and after speaking to an agent they said that my COPR is not even printed yet. She said they are printing it now and she cannot confirm whether I will receive it before Friday and she does not know if it will be mailed to me today or tomorrow.

So frustrating!

WOW! Seems like this pilot project is not thought out well. You live around Montreal by chance? because it looks like CoRPs are mailed out from Montreal so I guess mailing time for nearby addresses is two or three business day. if that the case, you should still be on track for telephone landing.

I live in Vancouver so I'm pretty sure my COPR won't arrive in time, even if it was sent out straight after my call with them. This time of year is busy for Canada Post too with holiday shopping/parcels and so they will be delayed also.

This really doesn't make sense to me now. It doesn't look like they thought this process through before launching this pilot program...
