For family size of 5 (you + spouse + kid + 2 parents), you'd need income around $65K for past 3 years.

So as long as you're a PR/citizen yourself, you can apply to lottery in January 2018. Watch CIC site for new rules, as they are not released yet so nobody knows.

Your parents can be inside or outside Canada to sponsor them, it doesn't matter.

I have question, with regards to parents sponsorship for minimum fund.

Here are my details

Family size of 4
Landed in April 2014.
sponsoring person 1 (my mother)
since nov 2014 working on annual salary of 75K

Do I suffices requirement of sponsoring my mother in JAN 2018?

It depends what the new rules will be.

If they allow income from 2015/2016/2017, then you will qualify.

But if they require 2014/2015/2016 income, you will not qualify since your 2014 income would be short (since you only worked 2 months in 2014).

You need to wait until new rules are released, to see if you will qualify for lottery.
