I have not received passport request email though. It's normal right?

Does that mean I passed security, eligibility etc..?

By receiving the same email, I assume that my PR application has been approved by CIC but I have been checking my online application status since yesterday, it is still under "processing background check". Anyway I still replied to the email to confirm my availability for phone interview, with few questions along to ask about my current online status.

Few minutes later, I got the reply from same email,
"This is a new initiative which does not follow the same procedure. You will not need to submit your passport."

So I guess that pretty much clarifies and relieves the anxiety for the cases where applicants havnt got their online status approved/updated.

I got the same Email today, with the same email address. I'm scheduled for 14-12-2017. I'm not sure either, if its legit.

Did you get any response back after confirming your availability?

Hello, I'm just wondering, what time did the email come?
I'm Aug 13 AOR and still waiting, so I was just curious if most emails come in the morning or if the time varies. Thank you in advance
Hey there,

You will get it no need to stress. It came in the morning around 7:30am EST.

It is just a matter of time as they have a lot of approved applications and have to sort them out so that they don't get over-flooded.

Hi Aug FSWO applicant,
CIC introduced New Avenue called Pilot Programme for CEC applicant to speed up PPR COPR.

For people like us no source even to find out the status. Any one have clue how the application status changes after CPC transferred the file to local visa office and how long max they will take to issue PPR. Please throw some lights

Hi All,
I got AOR on 18th August 2017 and medicals passed on 5th October 2017. When can I expect PPR.

Thanks
