Question on linking the application:
1. In my case I have my parents as the applicants, I am the sponsor and my husband is the co-signer, and my husband also sponsored his parents to Canada and they already got their PR, but my husband’s sponsorship is still effective. When I enter the linking info, should I put 4 or 6. We also have a baby, but I saw someone mentioned only count the adults.

2. City/Town: even if I didn’t put the Town detail I still need to put it?

Any answer will help. Thanks

1. Actually 7, you, your spouse, the baby, his parents, your parents.
2. City or town either one, just so there address can be located.

I'm the parent being sponsored (second round, December 8 deadline). I filled out the application with my son in person and we mailed it from BC on November 2 via Canada Post. My son got the reminder email November 27, but no AOR yet and I don't have a Canada Post tracking number. Is there any other way to confirm the package was received, such as through the receipt number or reference number? Who is supposed to be able to access the application online, the sponsor or the applicant?

Yes I sent through Canada Post to PO box Address. I was not expecting that update myself, I just signed in to check status of my citizenship application & found an update on this.
Thanks. I called canada post and they said they deliverd a large number of mail at a time on nov 24 and my application was one of those. That's why i don't have individual scan.

You called Canada Post instead of using the tracking number and they were able to tell you, or you had the tracking number when you called?

I'm not sure whether I'm supposed to have heard something from CIC or not. It sounds like there are two notifications, one when they receive your application in the mail and a second when they actually start working on it and assess whether it's complete - if that's the case, shouldn't either I or the sponsor have been told it was delivered by now? It was mailed on Nov 2. Or am I stressed for no reason?

It will be 7.
And for City/Town - try CITY,STATE - Example TORONTO,ONTARIO or MUMBAI/MAHARASHTRA even though you haven't put state of birth in any submitted forms. It worked for me that way only don't know why.

I have the same and it says it's a Questionnaire but looks like they want authorization on portal to show the rest of the status...or maybe it's to upload documents required once they ask for it. Someone else maybe can shed light here. This is a picture of when I clicked on View Submitted Application:

Hi, I also have the same status "Your action is required", but nothing inside. Did you got it sorted out ? Do we have to do anything.?

I am from 2nd round applicant. CPC received my application package on 12 Nov/2017.

Today I got a letter from CIC in my mail box, indicating my name, DOB, UCI , currentAddress and reference number of my parent's Invitation code. by this letter, they are asking me for additional document of my address proof..!!

when draw was open, I entered my old address and I moved to new place after that. My application is showing my new address. They want me to prove that I'm the same person. This letter is showing date printed on 22 Nov/2017, and I got in my mail box on 1st Dec through canada post...!! They have given me 30 days to provide requested document, that I'm sending through speed post tomorrow.

They asked me to provide provincial or federal government issued address proof. I also changed my license and registry is not providing photocopy of my OLD license. All I have is last year's Notice of Assessment from CRA with my old address. And I'm thinking to provide "statuary declaration" from commissioner of oath to prove that I'm the same person who showed interest to sponsor my parents...!

Did anyone get letter like me? any suggestions to provide clarification ..??

hi , does anyone have a copy of the form that was issued in January 2017to February 2017 to submit for sponsorship of parents. please post it for newcomers who wish to bring their parents
