Hi Guys,

I was selected in round 2 and sent my application on November 27. It was received in CPC - M on November 30 and today when I sign in to check CIC online status it actually says "We received your application for permanent residence on November 30, 2017."

Isn't it too early for CIC to update the status? Any comments or similar experiences? It not AOR, isn't it.

Just wondering, did u use candapost / courier? Which address did u use. I sent mine on Nov 21. I don’t have any update yet. Is it lost?

I used Xpresspost. I actually sent it late on Nov.27 and they've just delivered it today around 11:30. I used the address for the courier as per Canada post website tracking. I didn't even see any signature of the one who received it. I guess the lady at the post office forgot to note that I need to see the signature but I'm keeping my faith. You can check it online if you have the tracking number.

For those who still haven't sent your applications and is intending to use Canada Post, I guess you better send it as soon as possible. There will be delays for the delivery about a day or two from the intended delivery date due to the holiday season rush. Better be safe.

I guess the waiting game starts now. Looking at Yulia's spreadsheet, I am thinking we should be waiting roughly 3 months for an AOR and give it a good month for the sponsor status approval. But then again we will never know if the wait could be shorter.

Yes I sent through Canada Post to PO box Address. I was not expecting that update myself, I just signed in to check status of my citizenship application & found an update on this.

I'm trying to link application to account. "Based on the information you entered, we found no applications."
does anybody have the same text? or everybody has info that their applications has been received?
