Yup. That's what I meant. No email will be sent when there's an update.

omg omg, I am gonna call them to see what's happening. I will let you know if there's something.

Hey Hey,
I got one yesterday.. It was showing update on my cic.. no email or no update inside.. what's that?
I'm in IP2 since Sep 5.

Same thing happened with my account, there was a ghost update but no messages when it was opened and when I called the following Monday they said it was approved so fingers crossed...

omg, I am so excited. Wish I could call now. But at work, can't do anything now. I am so nervous, and sweating although it's 2c here :(

Since Sept 12 I guess? Cuz never got any update from them on email on any changes on my account (but I never payed attention to all of the details other than, the final decision which is in progress). Since then, I checked my online account last Oct 10 only and my BG was in progress, no change afterwards until Nov20 where doc changed to no need for add documents. So I really don't know.
Thanks. Fingers crossed. Will finish work in few min.
Keep us posted! :)

I'm sure your case should be approved. I didn't get the update in my account, but I called cic, I was told my case was "completed". The lady told me that she wouldn't have said "completed" if it's not "approved".:rolleyes:

Did you get to ask them why there is a delay to get the PPR email?

No I didn't. I don't think they know the answer. Without asking, the lady told me that "I don't know when, but you will receive a letter to tell you to proceed to next step." Apparently, that is up to the case review officer to decide when to send out the emails.
