Can I sponsor someone for PR when they are already here as a visitor

Hello, I have a few great friends that have come to Winnipeg under visitor, they have been coming and going from Winnipeg to Iran, Iran to Winnipeg for about 2 years now, we were wondering how can we sponsor them or help them to come to Winnipeg and just stay as Permanent Residence. They are 2 business men and each of the men have 1 wife and 1 child, making 6 in total.
How can I help them to fill out forms to make it PR?
If so Which forms?
OR can i sponsor all 6 together for PR?
OR what are my options?

Would it be possible for me to help them apply for a PR, the family has a visitor visa that is good for 4 years they still have 2 years left on it, can they apply for PR while they are still on the PR? I can Guid then if they need the help but they would just ill the application asking to apply for PR, each family can have their own file? or can they apply all together?
 
They have to apply as separate families. They would need to meet the requirements of one of the immigration streams to apply. You can assist them with filling out the forms, but there really is nothing else you can do. Applying for immigration will not allow them to remain in Canada during their visitor status any longer than they would normally. Other may have other suggestions.

Okay if they plan to fill it out what form would they use to fill it out, and once the applications are submitted does the visitors visa get cancelled until they get approved or can they still use the visitors visa until they get approved?

A 4 year visitor visa doesn't allow them to stay in Canada for 4 straight years. Visitors are allowed into Canada for six months maximum. After that, they have to apply to extend their visit.

They cannot apply together. They have to apply separately.

It is not as simple as just filing out forms to get PR. There are a number of things they likely have to do before they can even apply (like take an English language test). What they need to do to apply will depend on which program they apply through. If they are truly serious about immigrating, then you or they will have to research Canada's immigration options to find if they qualify and figure out which is the best way for them to apply. If you do not want to do this research yourself, you will need to hire an immigration consultant or lawyer. Details on Canada's immigration programs can be found here:

There is no short cut to doing a lot more research and reading apart from hiring a lawyer/consultant.

I think you are thinking of Manitoba Support via Manitoba PNP, but I believe there are limits to how many people you can sponsor/support at a time. I do not think you can sponsor both principal applicants at the same time.

There was previously an Exploration stream, since they can visit Manitoba with their TRVs, but I believe it's since been replaced with the Manitoba Invitation in the link above.

Anyway, best to ask about this in the PNP section of this forum.
