That sounds exciting! Please, what date was your application received by CIC (I think you said January, just wondering if it’s close to beginning or end)?
Wow, they are getting close! (We are Feb 1 applicants.) Anyway, I don’t believe it should be very long at all until they request your passport. Seems like once they start sending stuff like that out you are near the end. I’m really curious because most of the people from 2017 who have been contacted are either using the old application and/or have done up front medicals that are expiring - ours seems to be one of the first ones that did the entire new application package including waiting for medicals to be requested. I was curious if the progress would be documented differently but according to our online account, background check hasn’t even started. So it seems AVO is still AVO regardless of what kind of paperwork they have - therefore it’s anybody’s guess what they are actually up to.
There was one person who got PPR, was a January applicant and said that they weren't able to submit upfront medicals, so it seems you are getting close!
We just pray that December will be a great month for the rest of us who are next to receive ppr
@grace, I just got the information you were asking about send package to AVO from Accra. My wife sent the package to the AVO from Accra cost her 18 Ghana cedi and the returned prepaid cost her 48 Ghana cedi. The package was delivered the someday as well......
@Skod, could you please fill out the spread sheet because your 1 day PUM has never been done in the history of this forum so record it on the spread sheet so future members will see that 1 day PUM has happen before. Thank you...........
