Do police come home for PCC

Hi Guys! Need your help.
I applied for Indian PCC in June 2017. Yesterday police went to my home for PCC,After 5 months.Is it normal ? Never seen about police coming home for PCC.Did any one come across this situation? Please advise!

Not to worry !! if you are not criminal ..

Generally Passport office provide PCC same day without any Police verification. Because they already completed that process before passport issuance.

I got no criminal record But I'm worried because why did they show up now since I already have PCC certificate issued in June .

Because you are in India, not in Canada. The way the Indian Police work is different from the world.
