that is so sad. u must contact them and say thatu can provide statement of funds again. and u can get ur fd broken and put that in ur savings account. anyways u r going to get it broken before going to canada to use that funds.so do it now.
Yeah, mentioned that in the CSE that in case they actually did not miss out on my FDs and that if it were not missed and the officer deliberately did not consider it liquid enough, then I am ok to liquidate it and provide a fresh set of statements. Also mentioned about the Bank's premature liquidation policy with relevant links

@BillHyatt Please help:

I'm about a month odd away from my USA PCC being processed (after waiting since 6 September for this second application to the FBI; first set of prints were illegible). They will be delivered to my sister in the USA.

Earlier this year we booked travel to the USA to visit family and we will reach there on the 23rd of December. Assuming that my PCC gets processed just before or while I am there, I am wondering whether this trip will invalidate the PCC, in which case I will have to cancel my trip:(. Any advise? I have tried to call CIC tirelessly via google hangouts and skype and got the voice prompts and high call volume message... so don't know what to do

i think once u submit ur pcc and ur e-apr, then u can plan the trip. if u visit usa and then submit pcc, it will be invalid. read the instructions. it says once u leave the country last time u visited, pcc should be after that date.
so plan ur trip after submitting of all the documents.

Call them afternoon like 12.30 or 01.00pm to get connected.

I am not sure about the exact rules applied to the USA and you should consult IRCC for accurate information. The general rule is that it will expire if you re-visit the country however if you apply before re-visiting the USA then probably you will be fine.

I would suggest getting information from IRCC directly.

I hope you already got your answer for this.

Final Approval means your file is now completed and Senior Officer needs to approve it and generate PPR.

However, IRCC have appointed some experts for auditing the immigration process and its integrity. Therefore, they select files on sample basis for Quality Assurance (QA) and in your case it seems to be selected.

So, first it will be approved by QA then by Officer but it usually doesn’t take much time as they do it on priority basis.

You should call IRCC and confirm your status.
Thanks, Bill

I want to update you on my current status.

I received a letter from IRCC this morning saying that my full-time work experience does not meet the requirements under R87.1(3)(a) because I 'm holding a study permit and was enrolled in full-time studies during the time of work.

But the thing is,I have a valid post-graduate work permit to work full time (already uploaded with my application); and all my classes are either at night or on weekends, which are not in conflict with my work hours, also I'm not enrolled full-time, only 1-2 classes per semester.

It seems they've made a mistake..

If you think this is a mistake then raise a CSE and also send an email to CPC-CTD-O (if you case is in Ottawa). Write a polite email while at the same time pointing out the mistake (eg. "I am uncertain as to whether this was an error...). Happened in my case where they missed out on my FD and got a straight refusal that I do not meet the eligibility requirements. Case reopened in a week and got PPR the same day!

I can't understand your exact situation, however, there is a rule (I guess) that restricts a number of hours that can be claimed based on a study permit. I am not sure about that rule but will try to get an idea of that. I will also suggest you do some research on rules regarding work experience claimed during study permit before raising CSE for a reconsideration.

Read the following and see if this is the reason that applies to your case.
