Hey Guyz,

Same question:
My ITA deadline is 6th Dec, 2017. I sent FBI PCC request for me and my wife on 4th Aug, 2017. After waiting for 3 months, finally my credit card charged on 14th Nov but unfortunately, FBI rejected my wife's request due to fingerprint quality (I should have sent multiple copies of the fingerprints).

So I sent a new FBI request for my wife yesterday through Fedex and it will reach to FBI tomorrow.

My confusion here is:
1. Shall i submit my application with a LoE by mentioning that I am yet to get my wife's PCC. In that case, i ll get 2 months extension which will last on Feb 6th but I highly doubt that I ll get her PCC by then.
2. I should decline the ITA and wait for another invitation. I just did medical checkup for us and in case of new ITA, our medical checks ll be 4months old. Will that be fine or CIC can ask for new medical checkup.

And I am the primary applicant.

Thanks in advance!
Your case is similar to mine. Do not decline the ITA.

Submit the application and raise Case Specific Enquiry and provide all evidences - the rejection letter from FBI, the new FedEx receipt, send a email to FBI after a week and when they reply, attach the same as well. You can then ask for additional time from CIC to submit the FBI PCC for your wife.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Couple of questions-
1) Did you apply from within US?, and
2) Did you use an agency to take fingerprint or did them by yourself?

I am just curious because If you go to an agency/professional services to for prints, they can tell right away whether the prints are good or not.

I got the notice to submit with FBI PCC within 2 days of submitting my application and I provided an LOE for pending FBI PCC. I was given 60 additional days to provide the pending documents, post which they said they will continue processing the application with documents that are submitted. Having a PCC from FBI is mandatory because without that they will certainly deny the application. It is documented on the CIC website.
Hello
Please I submitted with an Loe for my PCC. Did you get the message in your email or you had to keep checking yoir application page?

I applied from US only.
I went to UPS store as a lot of stores provide fingerprinting services but the technician didnt say anything about quality so I would suggest that we should never send a single scan. Its about 4 months wait after all.

Thanks for the suggestion!
So, this case specific query is any different than submitting the application with a LoE. And does CIC give more than 2 months for submitting missing docs because 2 months wont be sufficient for me because FBI ll take at least 3 months from now to process Nov 17 application.

How much did UPS charge? and did they take the prints on the FD-258 heavy stock card?

How were you notified that your wife's request did not go through? Letter or phone call?

When this happened to me I only found out when I called after only getting my husband's report back. I had called when our cards were charged (it had looked like only one was charged but that was just my card not showing the charge unless I pulled up a detailed transaction list) but they didn't say anything then. A few days after getting my husband's report, I got a letter from them saying my prints hadn't worked. It included a fresh FD-258 fingerprint sheet too.
