In our case, we had the original job description, so there was no need to ask anyone to write up roles and responsibilities and it could all stay between him and HR. Any chance you have something like that? Even if not though, my friends in HR thought it should be a routine request.
No JD for me :( I only my work petition document which has job duties mentioned not sure if IRCC will accept this doc

That's great! What my husband did was send an email to HR asking for the letter and included how "it needs to include this, this, . . ., and roles and responsibilities, which are on the attached document". HR just copied and pasted those duties into the letter. If you can do that, just be sure the description of your roles is accurate and a good enough fit to your NOC.

Anyone else receiving messages from CIC "Congratulations . You are now a candidate for immigration to Canada". I have been receiving the same since 2 days.

It looks like a system glitch but was wondering if it's only me or everyone :p

Guys.. one question. there is a quota of 75K for FSW, FST, CEC and 55K for PNP. 2017 target was 71700 and 51000.
So, PNP quota was 70% of what the total was for FSW/FST/CEC , 50K is a big number for PNP.

If I check the average draw since August, which was in the range of 2800. Approx 150-200 would be 600+ and rest all(2000+) in range of 433 - 500.
How did they manage to utilize 2017 PNP quota of 51K with only 200 folks coming on to the top with 600+ score?

In addition, with planned quota of 71700 quota in 2017. Assuming this number includes family. so with an average of 2 folks per ITA and taking some rejections too. I don't see how they can send more than 40K invites. so 40K/26 = 1500 approx. But the invites for 2017 look to be way more.

Am in missing something?

PNP quota is not always covered through the Express Entry. Only some PNP streams are invited for PR through the Express Entry.

Number of people declining ITA is pretty high. If you have a relatively higher CRS then there is almost no risk in declining ITA which is a common occurrence.

The average you are considering of 2 folks per ITA is way above the normal trend, hence the mismatch.

If you want to calculate for 2018, you can take the factor based on the 2017 data. So, the total number of ITA's issued in 2018 should be around the same number of ITA's issued in 2017 or a bit higher than that.

But which date we have to enter. I am also facing the same problem. I completed my bachelor's in June and join my organisation in July but I got degree in December and December is mentioned in the certificate. So which date I have to enter?
you should enter the date of completion

I hope you're right! I'm at 444. Once we get my husband's ECA we'll be at 452, but that won't be done until December.
I am actually quite optimistic about tonight. I am hoping we have a decent draw today of about 2800 to 3000, and the CRS cut off drops to late 420s...

It’s about time they restart increase the number of invitations, as it happened in early November last year...
