For FBI clearance!!!!

is it safe to say that seeing this recent trend of AVO requesting for these documents suggesting to other members who partners have travelled to the states that have not received their PR yet start the process of obtaining this document and which ever state they lived at also clearance for speedy process....

because seems to be the latest trend to all our recent PPR members ....

just a suggestion...

Yeah if the total length of all their visits to the States is greater than 6 months.

Can anyone point me to a procedure for getting visitor's state clearance from outside USA?

The CIC website only has instructions on how to get FBI clearance but nothing about states.

Just a bit weird they still asking for FBI clearance even after sending a letter that it will take some weeks ... and the Maryland police clearance too! my hubby didn’t stay in Maryland for 6 month ...

This FBI clearance, is it for the sponsor? Is it only for those that have travelled to the US? Europe in mind.

We didn’t get any notification on the gc key, infact , when we checked this morning nothing seems to change

The FBI clearance is for principal applicant that has travelled to US or other country and started there for more than 6month

Also endeavour to call the state police department to get all information on the procedures correctly in order to avoid delays. If they require you to send fingerprints, it's advisable to send more than one copy so that at least one can be read correctly by their equipment. Follow all the instructions to the letter to avoid rejections.

I have been following this thread for a while now too. I am the sponsor and I applied for my husband in June 2017. Glad to see that they are working to finish up 2016 applicants soon.

For my fellow 2017 applicants, should we start a spreadsheet so we can all have a visual idea of the processing times and other info? They will be moving to 2017 applications soon and it will be very helpful for us to have a spreadsheet so we can have a better idea of actual processing times and what the trend is in terms of medical request, additional documents request etc since we have a completely different application package from the older applicants. Let me know what ya'll think and if anyone wants to set this up.
