Passports to CPC Ottawa- Oct 2017

I sent mine yesterday Nov 9, its showing delivered today Nov 10!!

My passport was delivered on 31 October. Still waiting.
MyCIC account has still not changed.
Am I supposed to be worried?
Any ideas friends?

Based on the immitracker tracker for passport processing (https://myimmitracker.com/en/ca/trackers/passport-processing-tracker) even with sending copies I expected it to be days longer, so check around there and see. Make sure you filter by your visa office to get a more accurate idea of where the processing on yours might be.

Passport Copy Received by Office: Oct 30 (I assume)
MyCIC Approved Date: Nov 9
Return Tracker Activated: Nov 10

UPS says it should arrive Nov 13, so fingers crossed for shipping to go smoothly in terms of customs. It had the export scan already so hopefully that's the big one to get through.

Congratulations! You gave me hope. My passport copies are delivered on Oct 30 too, but I don't have access to MyCIC profile, so I just keep checking the return tracker every day.

Good luck! You should get one of those "your account has been updated" messages when the status changes to approved. I used UPS and automatically got an email when the tracker was activated. I wasn't sure if I'd get that and wasn't even going to bother checking if it had gone out today, it seemed too quick!

I just called CIC. They said my passport was sent to dispatch yesterday evening. But no more information. Return tracker not activated yet. I called Canada Post too. They say it is not in their system yet. I don't know what's going on. I hope my passport is safe and will come to me soon.

App approved on Oct 24th. I am very worried.

Is there anyone here who’s still waiting for their passport to be returned, whose passport delivered date is around Oct 18th? Mine reached Ottawa office on Oct 18th but still no approved status in MyCIC and no return tracker update. I called them on Nov 8th and they said my passport is in the printing room and was approved few days ago, without giving me the approval date. It’s been 3 days since then and still no approved status/update on their website. Starting to get concerned and shocked how slow they are. Appreciate if anyone in the same boat can share their status/experience. Thank you.

I got very lucky. I hope you get yours quickly too! It seems customs went fine for our docs considering we woke up to the tracker showing it was in our city! No delivery until Monday, but that's fine by us! We're just glad it got into the US without any paperwork problems.

When i can get my passport back ? I sebt passport 25 oct and is received by 27 oct in ottawa.so is there any chance to get my passport back before 18 bcoz o hv flight on 21 nov.
