Hi Guys,

I have three questions and need help from all of you:

Q. No. 1: I have two kids and both are having passports, Do they still require Birth Certificates or Passport is enough

Q. No. 2: In the profile the experience of 2 Years 11 months and some days automatically becomes 3 years because it does not asks for the date of joining. Will it impact my score later once it will say your experience is not exactly 3 years.

Q. No. 3: For proof of funds, I have kept amount in a separate bank account however, still there is a deficit of CAD 3,000 which will get covered in my next salary. If I were to receive ITA in the next draw, I have 90 days to respond to, however, the Canadian funds might be shown in the bank statement for not exactly 90 days. Will it impact my application.

1. PCC's are different per country. My UK and Australia ones don't have a date range or city details on them but I've seen that some countries do so it really depends. My understanding is that the Indian ones are the most annoying and you need one per city you were in but I could be wrong.

2. Yes you have 14 days once you register to submit

Congrats mate on re opening of HCP.
Do the submission, update the tracker and your signature asap.

ASLO If indian PCC is applied with PSK (passport seva(service) kendra (center)) then it will cover the full duration of stay irrespective of the different addresses and its single page too. Takes time of about 15 days. It the simplest one.

In some states PCC can be obtained through police stations too which can be annoying but the route through PSK is very easy, fast and simple.

Bottom line - With PSK indian PCC is not annoying.

Hi there,
1) Yes you always need the birth certificates for your children;
2) To be safe, enter for now 2 years (at the time of submitting you don't have 3 years of work experience) and then update when it will be 3 years;
be careful with your details;
3) show all you have for the last 6 months as much as you can and for the part of 3000 CAD, try to get a Gift deed from your relatives, this is the safest way without question;

Birth certificate is required for the whole family including me and my wife or just for the children? I was in the impression that OINP requires birth certificates for the whole family.

Hi, I answered for applying passport to newborn boy. Not for OINP

Here birth certificate needs 1 month and then i considered 1 month for passport that's why I said 2 months

The day you submit your passport application at PSK, it will be processed. Passport will be printed on the same day and sent through speed post which will take a week to deliver.

My wife is the principle applicant and she had a break for almost 3 years. She has resumed her work after 3 years but it has only been a month. With 3 years of experience CRS is 455 and with 2 years the score is 430. Shall I wait another 4 months to apply or let it be like this with the LoE.

Birth certificate is required for the whole family including me and my wife or just for the children? I was in the impression that OINP requires birth certificates for the whole family.

OINP asks for birth certificate only for main applicant. Rest of the family just needs passport data page.

My wife is the principle applicant and she had a break for almost 3 years. She has resumed her work after 3 years but it has only been a month. With 3 years of experience CRS is 455 and with 2 years the score is 430. Shall I wait another 4 months to apply or let it be like this with the LoE.

I thought you were talking about just 1 month before completion of your 3 years work experience, now in your case 4 months, that's too much, so you have to apply 1-2 years option or wait until completion of 3 years, but with 2 years you have very good score too, 430 is perfect, go for it, I'm sure you will be invited before 3 years completion of work experience, best of luck and do everything properly then you will be fine brother!

I applied for PCC from Indian embassy in Qatar and got it in 2 days. Just contact the embassy at your country of residence.

I have couple of questions friends,

For marriage certificates/ birth certificates in another language than English, we need;

1. Translated certificates
2. Original certificates
3. Affidavit by the translator

Do we need to get these translated docs certified by the government authorities again?

How many years should I put as "Complete/full academic years" in EE profile for my Degree?

1. ECA states as 4 years
2. Actually it is a 1 year top-up (started aftr HND 2 years), i.e. 3 years. I have put since what year as 2009/Oct and to as 2011/Oct.
3. Country of study should be UK or my home country? ECA states UK, but studied in my Home country.

Hi I'm copying this from a post I wrote on another thread.

My initial ECA report released on 6th September read:

On 7th September, I wrote to them mentioning that my institution is recognised by AICTE and also presented the link to check it.

On 16th September, received a specific reply from WES - Institution recognition is not important. It is the program that needs to be recognised. If I wish, my institution could submit documentary proof and they would consider re evaluating.

On 18th September, I submitted - Bonafide letter from college + Letter from AICTE mentioning the Reference ID for the institution and program in a sealed envelope.

On 20th September, it was received at wes and file went into review.

On 4th October, they replied that it is not recognised and the report stays as it is (It is an automated message with one or two sentences added).

On 5th October - I wrote to them (a little bluntly) asking what exactly do they want. I had submitted everything possible.

Lull period till 2nd Nov (with no response)

On 3rd November, received a mail stating my evaluation is complete on 6th September. I thought this meant PERIOD, we are not going to entertain more requests from you.
However, out of curiosity, went to recheck my ECA report and noticed the following:
