Wondering if anyone can give me some advice I have a NOI from June 2017 and my CRS recently went down to 420. I'm using an agent to do my application and an application for Ontario PNP human capital stream is very expensive. What are my chances of an ITA if I apply to this. Thanks
We know that's expensive. But you have very good score, I may suggest waiting some time until January or February, coz if CIC will increase the number of ITAs, there is chance to have low score like 410 or even 400 very soon.
Best of luck!

Friends, please visit at this: https://www.cicnews.com/2017/11/ontario-express-entry-human-capital-priorities-stream-to-issue-new-nois-and-accept-applications-119805.html#gs.TNyHfd8

Hope, you will find everything here related to OINP, no more questions there would be in my opinion.
Good luck to everyone!

regards
Hey do you mind sharing when you created your EE profile and whether or not you will be recreating your profile to increase chances of being issued a NOI?

@trumprefugee @andieangel did you register for Ontario? I really hope everyone with a noi to get nomination from ontario.
Hey guys! Thanks for thinking of me, especially @andieangel who PM-ed me! I did log in and register, although I had to refresh for a while because at first, I kept getting the message "Please note that the OINP has reached its registration intake limit for this stream. No new registrations will be accepted for this stream at this time. For more information please visit the OINP website."

So, I'm almost done with my application but found one significant difference between what is in the application instructions PDF and what is on the website. Specifically, we need to submit a copy of the front and back of a photo, with our name and date of birth written on the back. The application instructions did not mention needing a copy of the back of the photo or needing to write name and date of birth on the back, so I will need to do that when I get home tonight:

Photograph
Provide a copy of the front and back of a photograph of yourself that meets the following requirements:
  • Dimensions: final frame size of the photo must be at least 35mm by 45mm (1 3/8” x 1 3/4”), 300dpi or 413 pixels x 531 pixels or greater, showing full front view of the head, with the face in the middle of the photograph and including the top of the shoulders.
  • Head, from chin to crown, must be between 31mm and 36mm (1 1/4” or 1 7/16”).
  • The background of the photo must be white.
  • Your name and date of birth must be written on the back of your photo.
  • Note: Photographs that are not clear or are low-quality will not be accepted.
  • Include the name of the person in the file name, for example, “John Smith passport photo.jpg”.

@andieangel @TanakaM ....Hi Seniors, can you say what source does CIC use for fund conversion? My funds are held in local currency and I want to translate balances to ensure I meet POF requirement. I have been using the local central bank exchange rate but i'm pretty sure that CIC may be using otherwise.

how large would the variation be anyways? use any converter, and make sure to have more than you need in funds than what's mentioned on the site. keep track of the variations as well, cad is fluctuating quite a lot these past few months

I don't know if CIC has any official required source, but oanda is commonly used by businesses:

This page on the Canadian government's website has a link to the Bank of Canada currency converter, so I would think that would be safe to use:
