A melodrama at VFS global today in hyderabad.
Be careful with your email received from the New Delhi Immigration office,
My beloved indians hands on work made me to tense and sit from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm, at VFS office and in my hotel room.
UCI : 9 XXXXXXXXX
APPLICATION NUMBER : XXXXXXXXX @ GMAIL. COM
CLIENT EMAIL : XXXXXXXXX @ GMAIL. COM
Followed by PPR details.
After submitting 3 passports at 12:30am and headed to airport hotel for check out, flight check in 3:30pm and departure 6:30pm , from Hyderabad to trivandrum. Received a call from vfs global, asking me to come to the office immediately. They are unable to process the passport submission due to lack of application number.
They want to verify physically my email so that they can check whether it is edited by me ,as the application number is mentioned as email id instead of numbers.
Reached the vfs global in 1 hour as per the request and opened my email on vsf official computer, they verified and confirmed that, it's from official email and made mistake from Delhi side.
Officer ask me to sit meanwhile he will have a word with his team, after 10 minutes, he informed me, he sent an email to Delhi, and they will reply them shortly, so i have to sit and wait.
If reply is negative or no reply they will handover our passports back to me.
Fingers crossed and sitting .
After 1 hr, chief executive of the vfs came and apologies for the waiting as nothing is wrong from my side,and the reply from Delhi is YES , positive, they gave smile and said, you may leave now sir, it's done.
Inference : even though it's from Delhi visa office, please check your details, like, name, application number, and UCI number on the email, was it legitimate or any errors.
Don't face problem like me.
Now my flight missed. Tomorrow morning flight i booked again.
Congratulations lijose for DM
sunnymks and can-dream are next to receive the DM and PPR.
One more thing : VFS hyderabad strictly charging for the courier charges and sms charges.

I can understand how tense these several hours could be for you. Thanks for giving us this advise and your kind wishes.
one thing you mentioned that VFS hyderabad strictly charging for courier charges and sms charges. Can you please let us know how many charges they charge from an applicant because i think it may be the same at all VFS branches.
A couple of more things have you submitted any other documents or any photographs along with your passports and kindly don't forget to share the validity of your visa, once you receive your passport back with your valid visa and COPR.

We are 3 in the family,
So 49 rupees per application for sms charges , 49 × 3 = 147
597 rupees per passport for Secure transmission of passport to the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi , 597 × 3 = 1791
362 rupees per application for courier charges , 362 × 3 = 1086
Total : 1086 + 1791 + 147 = 3024
Sure I'llshare the details of visa validity along with the COPR details.
Photo taken at vfs , 121 for 4 photo mentioned on the site, but 4 photosfor 3 people, he took , 726 rupees , maybe it's their style, and the photos looks more worst than ever I took in my life.
We have to submit 2 photo, specifications will be in the PPR email, if taking outside, if inside vfs, then have to write name and DOB back side of each photo. If taken outside vfs then date and address of the studio to be printed or hand written on the back, to avoid unnecessary risks I took pictures at vfs.
Email original print, requestingPassport, from visa office, i. e. The PPR email direct print, don't copy in word and print, they want as it is.
So here comes,
1) original passport
2) 2 passport size photo as per the specification
3) email printed copy of PPR
Remaining things will be taken care by vfs,
4) consent form, they will give you, so fill it and sign
5) pay the required fees, he will handover you a paper marked with services we are requested ( even if we don't request )
6) dedicated counter for cash payment
7) handover the email print, 2 photos, original passport, payment receipt along with consent form and payment request form, sealed by the cashier.
8) wait for 5 minutes, he willenter the details and will ask you to spell the email, for counter check, then address for courier, which already you wrote, then done, he will show you, a slip with delivery address, and will ask you, is this correct? Yes.
9) one printed copy with payments they took along with the tracking number for the application will be marked with marker and website where to track, and leave the counter.

Did you send your PR file to NOVA SCOTIO when you send it?

Initially all the files needs to be sent to CIC Nova Scotia once the AOR has been generated and then the file tranfers to the relevant Visa office. However my file reached CIC Nova Scotia on 20/07/2016.
Another day passed with no newsSame status. Nothing changed. 17th month going on.
. This waiting is really the worst thing to be done.
@POLYNING found out that for Inland applicants most DM/PPR came on Thursday. Do you see same pattern for NDVO? If yes, then you might want to check on Thursday morning instead of multiple times on each day of the weekAnother day passed with no news
