I think we were a Nikkah Only case, that's why. There were no Rukhsati pics at the time when we filed the application. We did our complete wedding in July 2017. I purposely did not send them the evidence voluntarily because I was waiting for a doc request from them. So that I can clarify whatever question they have. Finally they contacted us after almost 11 months in the form of this PFL.

I'm the sponsor and living in Canada since I landed last year in April. Visited Pakistan 3 times during this time. Employed full-time since Sept 2016. Strangely, still they asked my wife in the PFL that you didn't provide any evidence that your sponsor was residing in Canada at the time of your application, or that he is residing there now. Funny! Anyhow to support this, we have submitted my employment letter, bank statement, rental agreements and pay stubs. Hopefully they should be satisfied now.

I was also nikah only case... One question for you how you know that letter your receive is PFL ? as mine letter doest says any thing like PFL. They just asked me to provide proofs or explanation if rukhsati is not done yet. etc They also mentioned in order for us to continue processing of your application we need these documents. Do you think mine is also PFL?

Hello, every body,

I submitted my application in Nov 2016. On Oct 23rd, 2017 I got an email to send rukhsati and wedding ceremonies pictures, an explanation letter why I was not hennaed in my nikkah pics, and to indicate a period of cohabitation.
Fortunately, I was on vacation in Pakistan (August to Oct end) and I don't think so its true that they gonna reject my application on my 2+ months stay in Pak. During this time and my rukhsati and walima ceremonies were performed on September 19 and 20th.
My question is do I need to submit forms online only? As now I can see an option to upload all supporting documents as mentioned in the letter on the mycic account. or DO I ALSO NEED TO SEND HARD COPIES TO LVO AS LETTER SAYS PLEASE RETURN THIS LETTER WITH REQUIRED DOCUMENTS?

So looks like you got same kind of doc request as we did. Was it a normal doc request or a PFL? Does it say something like the evidences are not enough and your application might be rejected or something? We also didn't hear anything from them since application. They contacted us for the first time after 11 months.

You are getting the online submission option. Strangely, we didn't get that. Even in our letter they didn't mention to upload it online or anything how we are supposed to respond. Anyhow, we sent everything via DHL. Reached there in 2 days

I had emailed London VO about a month ago asking them about the status of my file. They haven't even started an initial review and require no additional documents yet.

In myCIC it says request letter. Also, they just mentioned this "The above information/documents must be received in our office by no later than 2017/11/10. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence."
They did mention about submission procedure but I have seen options to upload everything. Going to DHL all details tomorrow.

Have you asked them if they need any docs from you?

I had an additional doc request about a month ago which I already replied to. The status has been 'need docs' since then and hasn't changed. Most people who inquire further about that are told that everything is in order, so I'm not gonna bother asking about it unless I don't see any movement in the next few weeks.
