Yes exactly. Courier means someone will deliver it to a person. The Pobox is for just letter mail, which I'd never use for something so important.

If you want signature the safest option is that Courier Address.

Do not worry. Couple of years ago when I applied for the PR I sent my application via Xpresspost to a PO box address (my mistake I thought Canada post's Xpresspost is not a courier).

It was delivered on time without any problem.

depends on the region or how profesional the canada post clerks are; we used same expresspost and even though we wanted to pay extra for the signature we were told they cannot guarantee signature to that address (the dorchester courier one); so the signature was optional, the package was delivered at 9am on the 16th but we got no signature :( i hope it's ok and they actually deliver it to a person, only that they didn't ask the guy to sign

if i would do it again i would ask clearly before paying/sending; if canada post clerk does not satisfy my request, i would go to another (dhl, purolator, whatever)

good luck! :)

PS: we sent from Montreal

sorry i quoted wrongly, hope the one who asked will see my reply :P

i sent my PR too to regular and it was delivered no signature

I was told by Canada Post that it had to be the regular address, not the courier.

So it was sent to the regular mailing address by me (July 2017), via Express post and all was good.

So guys just to be clear Xpress post is a courier service and needs to be sent on this address:

I was told if I need signature its the 1st address - 43 bucks, if I need just tracking then it;s P.O box but not signature for 20 bucks, BOTH 3 business days
However, mine was delivered to P.Box with signature anyway
