Hey guys,
My friend got a PGWP for 2 years after 2 years diploma program.
It were 4 straight semesters without any pause. (so technically it's just 1.5 year)
CIC website states:
"How long the post-graduation work permit is valid for depends on the length of your study program:
Two years or more - a PGWP may be issued for three years"
But it doesn't say if it's length in actual calendar years or length of the program. (which officially says 2 year diploma).
My question is, is he actually eligible for a 3 years PGWP and can he appeal it if so?
