Hello, I have one query about work experience proof. I have done work in 7-11 as a supervisor for one month from dec2013- jan 2014. I have experience letter signed by manager and t4 for 2014 but not 2013. I am also including notice of assessment for both years. Are these documents enough for proof? Please help. Thank you.
Yes, the reference letter with all 'must-have' detail is the only required document.
CIC may (or may not!) ask for additional documents but you can always write to them if you can not produce any of those documents in a LOE.

They say they're waiting for security check! They don't know how long it will take! They can't say that!!!!
I guess I will have to get ready to hear the same when I contact them in 2 weeks time!
Well, on the bright side, they are 'working' on the file, right?
We have to live with that for now!
Good luck!

Has anyone ever heard about an application taking over a year through Express Entry Program? I mean what's the worst case?

I’m not certain, but my rep told me there’s backlog from CIC now that’s why it’s taking too long to process all the applications. If you’re PNP just like me, the application would possibly be way past the processing times since they said it depends on how fast the province you were nominated would respond. I’m entering 8 months now and I’m hoping that the wait would not last long more than a year.

Yes, there are few but those cases are a bit complicated.
None of those are straightforward EE>ITA>AOR applications.
They are either EE and then a mix of PNP>bridging> and many other things.

I know of few people who are not complicated, straightforward, that went into security screening for more than a year.
