It's worth a try if you are confident that you wrote enough quality content for band 7. Did you make sure that your answers fulfill minimum words requirement? There is a heavy marking penalty if we are short of words.

Anyone filed EOR in August or September, Kindly inform when you receive your result. I have applied on 5 September for test conducted on 19 April in writing module only given through IDP.

There are many cases where EOR results in no change. But it's definitely worth a try if you are confident enough. In my case, i was expecting minimum 7.0 in writing despite writing a band 8.5 content because of my pretty bad hand writing. The markers at BC Cambridge seemed to be kind enough to bear with my handwriting though :P

As I've already mentioned my writing score went from 6.5 to 7.5 after EoR and I got results within a week (AEO-Pakistan). My brother appeared in August and he got the same result (L 8.5, R 8.5, S 7.5 W 6.5).. He applied for EoR 2 weeks back and got TRF back today and writing score changed from 6.5 to 7 (AEO - Pakistan, again)

So, yes there are two success remark stories within my home and I recommend anyone confident in his/her writing to go for EoR.
