Hi again!

Just want to ask AGAIN how to or order notes. I am really concerned that my Sponsor haven't received Sponsor Approval even after our Medical passed. Also how will I know if BGC is in process? mine says "Your application is in process..."

Most people see the BG tab in GCKey change to, 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.'

When you sign in to ECAS (online tool) using the Sponsor's details, what does it say under Sponsorship Application Status? If sponsor is approved, it should say Decision Made.

Hey everyone,

Our GC Key was updated yesterday asking for my Spouse's PP

The GC Key is still showing background check in progress and my SA is still showing In Process in ECAS, although I received an email from them back in June and called them to verify I was approved and the lady said I was approved in May. So looks like they don't update everything right away.

I believe the Ottawa office is backed up so they are sending applications to other VO's. Initially our VO was Ottawa but then they moved it to NY.

my GCKey account says everything is in progress. They have all the documents they regularly request now (med exam, fbi record, schedule a, military records) When I went to ECAS it shows all of that and says "decision made" which is clickable and just shows the order of everything. However doesn't say decision made there....So I'm a little confused. What should I be expecting? Thank you in advanced.

My ECAS are the same, you should get a letter or email through your GC Key requesting for your passport. Congratulations!

It felt like it would never come. So exciting, I can't wait. Is it jumping the gun to think he would be allowed to live here by Christmas? 2 n half months.
