Just curious - your profile shows you applied in Feb, same as us. Your wife must have been heavily pregnant then. Were you not able to apply earlier? Seems unrealistic to expect them to process the application in such a short period, baby or not. We were told to expect the full 12 months timeline that was projected at the time. Ourselves had to endure a lost pregnancy while apart which proved much harder than we could have imagined. Well, God be our strength and we will come through stronger and victorious in Jesus name. Hang in there...

Yeah we got married in august of last year and we had to gather all the documents and she had to at least get a job..plus we wanted our registry marriage to be at least 2yrs before applying which we achieved in January.. she got pregnant a week after the wedding *face palm*... so she basically went the whole length of the pregnancy alone and now raising the baby by herself..which i must tell you is putting a lot of strain on our young marriage...but for God we are holding on and keeping faith that things will start taking a turn for the better and new applications will start getting
approvals asap.

Am so sorry about your loss..that must be pretty hard to take..May God replace your loss with multiple babies.. sending you positive vibes!

Thanks for everyone's congratulations messages! I can't believe it's happening, I know they will roll through 2016 apps quickly! I feel it!

Question for everyone about medicals: those who have gone to Akai House clinic in Accra lately, do you need to make an appointment these days or can you still just go early? I called and called them today and no one picked up. Thanks all! We're going to do the medicals on Monday.
Also does anyone know what the cost is now? My husband and his son both have to go. Thank you!!!

It was months ago so I'm not sure what worked. I do remember what I had been doing wrong though. For one, I forgot to add myself in the number of applicants. And secondly, in the second part it asks for x information OR y information. I kept trying to give it both. Once I realized it was OR and not AND, I was able to set it up.

In GKey, in the list of statuses, most day "we'll let you know if anything changes" or something similar until they have looked at that item. For example, before someone gets their medical done, it days "You do nothing need a medical. We'll let you know of this changes". Same for most lines.

For me, the line about additional documents used to say that they received my additional documents (I assume schedule A and PCC). This recently changed and now it just says "We don't need addition documents" without saying that they'll let us know if this changes. Does anyone know if normally it reads that they'll request more of they need to?

We just had the medicals done. I'm curious if they actually looked at the file before requesting them which is why it days we don't need additional documents, or if requesting medicals is just done automatically without them looking at the application.

I have a question regarding Travel History form. In form cic mentioned write down length of your trip which you taken outside your county of residency or nationality . My question is suppose we travel for 105 days so , what we have to write? 105 days or 3 months 15 days???

Interview went amazingly well today!!! My husband killed it!! They just wanted to know a bit more about his son and his relationship with him and the ex, which is a good relationship, thank goodness. They didn't even keep our additional relationship proof!!! They gave it back to him!


AND THEN!! We got our MEDICAL REQUEST an hour later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's Accra infact I spoke with the lady she said she submitted everything upfront around Jan including medical she did not wait for request now her husband is with her after 5 months from Nigeria

The forms were in my husband's email. They weren't attached in GKey for us. I think it all happened at the same time. Is just that I logged in and see it in GKey before I spoke with my husband. When I did speak to him he told me about the email he'd received.

Almost over or its already over. I pray my case will be like yours. My wife's passport got delivered to AVO today so I'm gonna start 12 days counting down.
