Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi Everyone,

I am in a jeopardy and need your opinions.

I lived in Canada for 5 years, did my 2 years PG and then worked there for 1 Year on Post Graduate work permit. I returned back to India last year during March.

I have applied for Express Entry (Created my profile last August) under Canadian Experience Class (Out lander) this February and got approved PR and was told on the PR-VISA to make the landing before Feb 2018.

But here is the complex thing.

1: When I applied for PR (Express Entry) I was single and got married only after my Passport was stamped with PPR. Now Martial status has changed to Married, but I wouldn't bring my wife with me along with me

2: I started my Job in Canada in September 2014 and Finished it in September 2015, so its been 3 years since I did my first job in Canada, and CEC clearly mentions it should be with in last 3 years to be eligible for CEC

3 : Now my IELTS score also expired as I took the test in 2014 September

4 : Since I applied under CEC category I didnt show any proof of funds

5 : I was asked to submit RCMP from Canada and I got it in February (its already been more than 6 months)

and I am worried about the following now

1 : Now that I am married and my martial status has changed I MUST inform CIC about the change, though I do not have any intentions to get my wife to Canada but I must inform them, and if I do, do they gonna re-asses my application based on today's date ?

2: Do I need to get PCC, Medicals and IELTS done for my wife and pay any processing fee to CIC, even if she is not accompanying me ? and what are all the docs I need to produce for my wife (like Marriage Certificate, Wife Birth Certificate, PCC for Wife, Medical's for Wife, IELTS for Wife , etc ..etc..)

3 : Since its been more than 3 years when I started my job in Canada - can I still use that experience to qualify for CEC category (this is the only valid (read on pay scale and technical exp) exp I have in my career that to just 1 year)

4 : Now that my IELTS score expired in the beginning of September, do they ask me to get the IELTS done again ?

5 : Though I applied under CEC, but now that my martial status has changed do I need to show them proof of funds ?

6 : Its been more than 6 months since I got my RCMP Verification done from Canada, though I have not visited Canada (nor any other countries since I left Canada) do they ask me to get a new RCMP done.

7: Do they cancel my Express Entry application and ask me to create a new one, since I have created it last year around August and its been more than a year ?

Please let me know as I am very worried and has very less time.

Thanks in advance.

Since you wouldn’t bring your wife here, I’m assuming you can jusd land in Canada as you were single?

Thanks for the prompt reply bud, but wouldn't change in my Martial status effect my application at all ?

You can either choose NOT accompanying, but it in this case you will NEVER be able to sponser her.
Or, you report the change, submit her documents and get her add to the application. And, NO you will not lose your application and you will NOT have to submit new documents for yourself. And, NO, CIC will NOT recalculate your CRS.

Sure Will definetley inform CIC about my martial change.

Even if my Wife will not come with me, do I still need to submit any documents of her ? if so what are they ?
and do I need to pay any processing fee for my wife as well ?

If you inform and add her as accompanying you can both get PR, her documents will be assessed (PCC, medicals, marriage certificate) and you'll both get a new COPR to do the landing. Your eAPR won't start from scratch.

Non-accompanying spouses still have to submit marriage certificate, medicals and PCC. No fee for RPRF but i'm unsure as to whether they require the processing fee for a non-accompanying spouse.

Your PCC, IETLS, medicals and CEC eligibility are all irrelevant as they were valid when you submitted your eAPR.

Thanks for the detailed info bud, but my other worry is

She still doesnt have IELTS , and honestly I do not think she will get 6 in all bands. Doesnt that gonna effect my PR Points. if I add my wife as accompanying ?

Also I havent got her educational credential assesment done yet, isnt that gonna lower my points ?

and as I mentioned earlier I applied under CEC hence I didnt show any proff of funds, if I add her to my application dont I have to show proof of funds, since it would be family affair now.

By the its been a month since we are married, do I have to let CIC know ASAP or can I wait until I get all of her docs and inform CIC in few months later but MUST before landing.

Please let me know.

You have to forget about point recalculation, adding your spouse AFTER submitting your eAPR does not result in a recalculation of your CRS. That is, you DO NOT need her IETLS or ECA.

You still do not have to show POF.

You can inform them anytime before completing your landing. If you're still unsure there are a ton of threads regarding marriage after eAPR submission.

Better take along with you right now itself as currently it will take you maximum two additional months while if you sponsor her in future, then it will take 12 to 14 months.

Your wife needs to submit - PCC and medical and an update on any Travel History (outside India).

There will be no re-calculation of your CRS.

Although, the process now will be -

1. You update CIC.
2. CIC ask you to submit copr along with your marriage certificate, wife's PCC and medical.
3. You need to pay $1040 CAD fee for your spouse.
4. Once on getting an update from CIC, you will be asked to submit your and your wife passport and the fresh one time visa and copr will be issued for both of you.

Better is to wait for two additional months while it will be much struggle for you in the future.

Good luck.

Thanks bud, so adding my wife to my application now will not make her get IELTS , ECA and Medicals done , but would only need PCC , Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, and processing fee for her application.

I wouldn't mind waiting even 6 months, if I dont have to recreate my profile or my CRS to be re-assessed. By the way do I need to show any proof of funds as I am adding my on to application (I have not showed any proof of funds as I applied under CEC)

Absolutely not!!!
Since you wouldn’t bring your wife here, I’m assuming you can jusd land in Canada as you were single?

ohh for my wife's medical can I use my Express Entry number or can we opt for upfront medicals ?

Go by four points as I mentioned.
First informed CIC and then they will ask you to submit your wife documents which includes PCC, medical, marriage certificate, passport and travel history (outside country).

Can I do upfront medicals for my wife , or do I have to use the same EE / UCI number I used for my wife, or is there any other way.

Please let me know

Wow you confused so much for a simple problem. Just notify IRCC about your marriage, get PCC and medicals for your wife and get her COPR. That's it right. You won't be reassessed for points if you marry after eAPR.
