I got my application returned saying i didnt attach the PA's birth certificate, but he loves in Pakistan and we comfirmed but thy dont issue birth certificate for olders people this birth certificate thing just started a few years back. So now im confused on how to provide this. They also said if u r unable to gove us write us an explanation telling why. Can anyone please help me witg this, i want to clarify this fast so i can resend the application and get process started.

We were considering attaching a bay form instead and getting it translated and giving an explanation that in the country pA resides, Pakistan, NADRA doesn't issue birth certificates, and b form is considered to be equivalent to birth certificate in pak.

ok. From what I have read on the forum, If the PA has lost their birth certificate then you can get a new copy from the union council nearest to place of birth. Or if the birth was not registered at all, it can be registered with a late registration fee and few docs such as school certificate , residence proof etc.

Nadra does issue a birth certificate in Pak. From my understabding, Form B is a substitute of the CNIC and is valid only for children under 18.

@Kinza_Bee and the others who's additional doc status changed to 'we need more documents, we will send u a message with more details' without any messages, you were right, this status is due to ordering of gcms notes.

I had ordered notes on jul 15, received on aug 15 with a generated date of Aug 11. My status on mycic had changed for the documents on aug 11 as well. I ordered notes again on aug 15, received them just this week, and there was no change, just an addition of incoming correspondacne for the gcms notes on aug 11.

How do your notes look? Any progress? Eligibility started?

By reading recent few messages , I have realized that I have made a blunder and this might be my reason for security checks delay... my birth place was sargodha Pak in actual but we moved to wah, rawalpindi immediately after my birth... my father made my B form with birth place wah, rawalpindi... I didnt know this... I wrote sargodha in my passport (neither passport office demanded proof for that) and also written sargodha in generic application form of canada CIC... I had attached B-form with my app as well.. Now after seeing this would there be any red flag in my app for security concerns? M worried... kindly suggest some way...

Why did you submit Form B? Checklist asked for Birth certificate/CNIC/passport.
There is a contradiction in place of birth between your passport (Wah) and the place of birth you have mentioned in the forms (Sargodha), so this might be causing some confusion. I am sorry but I have no suggestions for you at this point.

That is strange that non Muslims in Pakistan cannot have their marriage registered in Pakistan.

Hi everyone

A few questions.
I am sponsoring my spouse. My application was received in early July this year. Got a medical request in late August. Completed the medical and we received info today that the medical was successful which means it was cleared. They sent my file to London. They havent started the BCG yet but that should be in the coming days I would think. My question is how long does it usually take the background and security check to be completed? Also when should we expect a PPR?
Shukar hai the process has been pretty quick so far and hope that continues. Its been basically just 2 and a half months since the application was received and we are in the BGC stage. My last question is how much longer is left in the process?

Submitted in Sep 2016 and the photocopies are out of reach at the moment. The forms and checklists have been revised twice since i have applied. If there is no clear requirement that it has to be filled by the sponsor as well, then only the PA has to fill it.
