Hello everyone,

I just came back from my vacation in Montreal and today I received and email from the Visa Office in Mexico requesting my Passport.
I am so happy :)!
The IRCC received my application on October 13, 2016
I didn't know any news about my application since January until today.

I think VO is finally working on our applications.

Yay, congrats! Always good to hear news of others getting PPR. It gives us some hope!

Hi
I am Bilal Shaukat. I am from Pakistan. I married with a Mexican. I have an interview in next month. Kindly guys share with me your experience regarding about interview. What they will ask from me?
Thanks
Be prepared!!! They will ask you personal questions which you would know about your spouse, your information. I'll send you a message with the questions that were helpful. The interview was about an hour long. When you bring the documents they will request. Have then organized in file folder so they are quick to get. They get impatient if you are fiddling with the papers.

I am sure, it will come :) my app took them 10 months and 20 days total.
We have to be patience lol I was going crazy not to know everything about my case but it just pop up. as long they process it in less than 12 months.

Can any of the applicants who already got the request to send their passport to the VO confirm if this is the mailing address?

Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra 193, Colonia Granada, Del. Miguel Hidalgo, 11520, Mexico D.F. Mexico

thanks,

Hello everyone
I am hoping someone can help us with how much time we will have to wait.. April applicants here.. my husbands PGR was received by the embassy via courier on July 24 but they have not sent as an email saying they have received it. I have emailed the Mexico office but still no reply.. is this something to be concerned about?
Our BGC still has not been updated in GCkey just wondering if anyone knows the estimated time until we may get his PPR?
Thanks!

I send away for the notes and sometimes I think that is worse to see that nothing has been started or it seems like they haven't done anything. Then out of the blue you get the PPR. This process makes you crazy, but as you said, the PPR comes when it comes and all you can do is to stay patient in the meantime ... I am only just past the 7 month mark, so it might be a few more months.

Its pretty normal they don't confirm that they have received the documents requested, unless you send an inquiry asking if they have received them. We sent my husband's PGR in June and got no email confirming they got them.
There is not an estimated time between BGC and PPR, it pretty much depends on the agent reviewing your application and the characteristics of your case.
