Hello Guys,

Happy to report that my Wife got PPR on Friday. I'm actually visiting her in Honduras now and it arrived same day I did. What are the odds.
ECAS today says Decision Made on Friday it did not but haven't checked it until today.
MYCIC shows:
Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you. Help
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam. Help
Review of additional documents We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details. Help
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes. Help
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes. Help
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. Help
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

We sent the passports today with DHL with a pre-paid return envelop which they let us know would arrive on Thursday.

I'll update once we get COPR. Looking like a 10 month processing for us if all goes well and can get her to arrive beginning of October.

Hi guys,
I am new to this forum, but I think someone here will have an answer to my question.
I am applying under FSWO from Uruguay, I got PPR 10 days ago and my passport was delivered to Mexico VO on the 25/08 by UPS with return label.

1. Does anyone know how much does this VO takes to issue the visa and return the passport?
2. Anyone has received a really bad PPR letter? Mine was in French (not my language of preference) and quite vague without much explanation on the passport (I have italian passport and my wife has Uruguayan) and the expiration date of visa was set to XXXXX.

I finally sent only her passport and photocopies of mine, along with the photos and copy of PPR letter. Then I called IRCC and they told me that this was OK.

my MP called me last night, i had an appt set for Sept 9 with him, and he said he is going to make an exception and email me the consent forms and such... sent it all back today. he said it takes up to 7 business days for a reply... hoping to get some answers as we really want my husbands son here soon! some people from the dominican had interviews this week, i know of one as of now that has been approved... hoping for more positive results from the rest of us in the coming future!!!

Nice! I wish mine were that easy to deal with. They have never asked us to sign consent forms and it'll be 3 weeks today she said they would contact me back. Oh my. At least if they were not going to help, they could at least say so. Not having any answers is so annoying. Just being patient is all we can do at this point.

I hope you get answers soon. Have you called and at least used the phone system update to see your status? They now provide all the information in gckey on the phone.... try that for at least some peace of mind

Looks like MVO is starting to move. We have had a couple of PPRs lately. It's not usual for VOs to slow down in the summer because of vacations and student permits but winter is coming so let's hope we see a wave of PPRs this september!
