Hello Guys,

I have a question on my Express entry profile. I have got an ITA today but my original CRS score was 424 and by October 05th, I will be getting an additional 23 points so my score jumps to 447 since I'm completing 2years in Canada. I have created my EE profile on June and the score was 424 for past 3 months but suddenly today I got an invitation with 447 scores. Do I need to accept/decline this invitation since I didn't do any changes in my EE profile for past few months and I think it was automatically updated by CIC but the problem now is, only by October 05th I will get an additional point

Please help me on preceding with my profile.

I've had the same issue as you do and I was also told to decline. It's your responsibility and you would risk too much. You probably don't want to get your application cancelled months after submitting it and do everything again, so decline the ITA.

In the ITA, they said that the score you claim will be calculate base on the time you submit not the time you get the ITA, except for age right? Why don't you just wait until you have full 2 years and hit the submit button? You can always confirm that by calling CIC though.

Where do you base your statement on? Reference?
The only "accepted change" is age. It's to avoid people lying to get ITA (by faking IELTS scores for example)

When reviewing an application, processing offices must determine if

  • the applicant possesses the qualifications that they declared in their e-APR, as corroborated by the applicant’s supporting documentation; and
  • when the applicant submits their e-APR, the information provided in their Express Entry profile has not materially changed to the degree that the applicant would not have been issued an ITA in that round of invitations.
Accordingly, officers should refuse an application under section A11.2 if it is determined that

Double check that your start and end dates are correct. Double check the point breakdown.

Under section A11.2, an officer may not issue a visa to an applicant who did not or does not meet the Express Entry minimum entry criteria (MEC) or did not or does not possess the qualifications for which they received their CRS score at the time when
  • the invitation to apply (ITA) was issued; or
  • the e-APR was received by IRCC.
Thanks a lot guys for all your response!. I have no other go so as you guys said, planning to decline the invitation.

Since you're pretty positive to get ITA next month, you can start preparing by booking medicals, getting PCC etc... good luck it's a few more weeks!
