When I called today agent said application is not entered yet in the system and it is perfectly normal and when I asked is there any note or comment for return of appliation in case if it is being returned. He said there is no note after checking my UCI. I am the sponsor
when was your application received by them?

Received July 25. I know it is a bit early for me to receive AOR. I was just wondering if they have returned my app in worst case scenario. I am guessing appliacation are entered into system when agents are assigned to it. May be my agent has not touched my app yt? Or my app is at the end in the batch. Just thoughts

Hello Guys,

I have got the Sched A request today but along with it they ask for Passport size Photo also that meets CIC requirements.
It is saying Digital photo or scan an existing one. The existing one I have from my wife is already rejected by CIC. Now if I scan it and edit as per their photo spec, how can I do editing for " The photographs must show a full front view of the head and tops of shoulders, with the face in the middle of the photograph. The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31mm and 36mm" ?

Please help

from what I gathered within these past few days, they have an initial screening step in which they look to see if there are any missing forms or incomplete data or major errors within your application. if there is they will return your application without assigning any temp application number and you should have received your application by now. if there are no major issues with your file, they will assign a temp application number and enter your basic info into their system and then an officer reviews your file in detail and then if he/she decides you are eligible then you will get an AOR. So if your application is in their system and the officer is reviewing that means you are in the clear for their first step of reviewing.

I'm assuming you haven't received your AOR yet, right? if yes, did you asked the agent to check if there was a note on your application about being returned to you or not? they might just give you an AoR and then ask you to submit the missing documents they are looking for.
an agent told me once if you are assigned a temp application number there is still a chance that they might return your application. when was your application received by them?
No aor yet. The agent said the file was opened and reviewed yesterday and there was a note for additional documents, which he said was the PCC and Schd A. he said to wait 2 weeks as they have 2 weeks time to send aor once file has been reviewed. so he said, to get ahead and be ready in those 2 weeks, he gave me client id and application id and told me to link it to PA's account plus info on how to. he said if 2 weeks later still no aor, i can call again and then only they will be able to request it to be sent. Application received on july 18. I checked the status online using app. number and it says received 18 then reviewed aug 29. In progress.

then you have your AOR and shouldn't be worried about it. you will get it soon.

That's ecas, but I'm not sure what you're asking. You have to wait for them to request police checks, Schedule A and the medical - it doesn't come immediately
this is ECAS:
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

use your UCI, your last name, your date of birth, place of birth. if you are the sponsor, you are looking at SPONSOR ECAS.

then...

use your wife/husband UCI, his/her last name, date of birth, place of birth. now you are looking at PA ECAS.

So it means that I will surely get the AOR ? I Asked about the Application number but that was not assigned..

no it means your application has passed the first stage of their screening which looking for missing or incomplete forms or data and all sort of things like that. After the review is complete you may or may not get an AOR depending on the officer's decision.

Just an FYI... today I recieved an email with my Sponsorship Approval letter but when I called CIC last week they told me that I had been approved on August 17th and the agent I spoke with wasn't sure why I had not recieved the email at that time.... So not too sure what's going on over there...
