I got email about my file transfer to visa office from mississauga on august 9th and ecas changed to in process on the same day. I also got email from new delhi visa office for confirmation of my file on august 16th. One more line was added to my ecas that we started processing your application

I dont know why youre so upset... i was answering her question because NO ONE can answer the question. Were all anxious i get it but none of us are the visa officers issuing the visas. She asked how long it takes after submitting docs. NO ONE KNOWS. This is the simple truth. It sucks but its life.... no need to attack as this response was NOT malicious at all. It was honest and realistic

Anyways, I know a whole bunch of you if not all of you will get ur visas before my spouse does.. we happen to be under a VO that takes 12months literally and don't update when they start background check....

my spouse and I have decided to go on vacation pending when we get visa march 2018 or by any stroke of luck before then .
but in the meantime, we just 'web form' proof of on going relationship/communication even without them asking.

will still update when we get any change whenever it happens until then, good luck to everyone......

Hi Janchor, we've been waiting for an update for a while as we've been trying to consolidate our 7 needed police certificates! However, we just got an update today from CiC saying that our application will be processed at Missisauga now. Considering our last formal communication was in May telling us that it would be processed in Ottawa, does anyone know if this a good or bad sign that we're being moved?
