Hi there; I received aprrove in principle for my PR under family sponsorship before 6 weeks ago..I have to leave Canada for a couple of weeks urgently, but the problem is; my visitor visa on my passport is expired which I can't come back again...My questions is: any solution regarding how I can re-enter Canada ???? And how more long suppose it takes to get my PR????
Please Advice!!!

Apply for a travel document from Canadian Embassy in your country. From what I have read, pr cards come in about 45 to 60 days..

Hi

The only way you can return to Canada is if you have a valid TRV. You can apply for one when leave Canada but there is definitely the possibility of refusal. If refused, your inland app would then be considered abandoned. You would need to re-apply outland.

OP is not a PR and is asking how to return as a visitor while the inland app is processing.

Thanks for your reply..i can't guarantee the approval of the travel document but it seems this is the only way ..I hope to get my PR ASAP so I won't go into risk of a rejeceted travel document.
Thanks.

Even if you receive PPR within the next few weeks, it will still take weeks or more to get your passport back. When did you actually apply?

My spouse applied for me under sponsorship program in June 2016..I received AIP July 2017 (six weeks ago)

Hi,

How many weeks or months it will take to receive a notification for PPR? I'm currently in Saudi Arabia and according to my wife my application right now is in LVO (London Visa Office).

Hi Everyone! does somebody here had the situation same as we have right now. CIC sent medical request to my husband yesterday. i checked my inbox and spam folder for the medical request i am expecting too. I signed out and signed in again my yahoo mail to refresh it. i thought maybe because of the internet signal that interrupting my incoming e-mails. I patiently wait and emailed the cic to asked them why i did not receive medical request. they replied that they forwarded my email to the immigration of canada in manila. few months ago, cic sent my husband summary of the documents he already submitted. mine was included, which gave me the idea that we should both get a medcal request. i read forums regarding family sponsorship that principal applicant and family members joining him/her or not in canada still must undergo medical examination. what makes me anxious is that cic are giving only 30days for the medical. Thank you.

As far as i know the principal applicant (sponsored) only will undergo medical exam. The sponsor will not require to go under medical examination and yes CIC are giving only 30 days for the principal applicant to complete his medical exam.
