The year is quickly coming to an end and we are still waiting. At the beginning of this year I didn't even think it was a possibility my husband and I would still be separated by immigration at this time but right now I'm only praying that we can at least be settled into our new lives and spend Christmas in our home. I just hope something happens soon so we can be reunited with our families and just move on with our lives. I'm grateful I get to see my husband in a week for all our wedding ceremonies and I refuse to let CIC cut our joy short in any way. Blowing goodwill dust to all of us and hoping for the best in the following weeks.

• I did my medicals on 25th July upon the request of AVO. After two weeks I emailed AVO to find out whether they've received it.They said they are still waiting for the results.I later called IOM(Where I did the medicals),they told me the results has been sent to AVO.I don't know what to do now.I need your advice.Also I want to know how long should it take AVO to receive medical results after the examination. Thank you

If i were u i will give them till the end of this new week if i did not get anything i will resend them an email to know what is going on.Good luck

Please tell the hospital to resend the medical result to AVO

No one can really say, we only have assumptions and wishes.
From CIC Website, and using other VOs as case study, the two classes should be treated differently, however It is AVO, the decision lies with them.
However, you getting a reply from them to do medical looks like a good sign on your application, let's keep fingers crossed, as events unfold, we would understand better.

Latest update.... Accra emailed us to summit passport but not just passport ,because its past one year, they requested a new schedule A, Additional family form ,medicals and police certificate . they want us to mail every thing along with passport.

And what's happened for @ooao should make all of us, particularly August September, apps get prepared with our schedule A forms, etc, so they are ready to go along with medical right away.
