Open work permit after AOR

Hey guys, I am not sure whether this questions has been posted or not. I am sorry if it has.

We sent our an Open Work permit along with Spouse sponsorship application July 7. I got the AOR August 11. The CIC website tells you about what happens after you get the AOR, however, it does not say anything about OWP. When should I hear back about this? Can I link an OWP with the same Client ID and Application Number I got from the AOR?

I will really appreciate any answers.

1. It will be sent in the mail to the applicant, about 4 months after the AOR.
