Finally, after trying for couple of days I was able to reach an agent. So, it seems officer has 2 weeks to get the passport stamped and sent back. It takes 1 week from passport delivery to agent getting the passport.

Delivery date: Jul 24th
Agent received date: Jul 31st
Two weeks from Jul 31st is the SLA.

Best.
@adi.urban Thank you for the updates.

I hope they stick on to their SLA.

I called them on the 2nd of Aug..the agent said they will return the passports in 2 weeks time. The agent was not telling the status of my passport.

I see few people from USA are waiting for over 3 weeks now (according to the tracker). The day we say it has been delivered is not the day the officers actually receive it. Our packages are delivered to the mail-room, from the mail-room it is transferred to the officers. The agent do not know, how long it takes for our documents to reach the respective officers. I think the 2 weeks time starts from the day the officers receive it.

I am nervous too :(
:( this sucks. So we dont even have a clue that our passport actually reached the agent or not. I was counting from the day it was received.

My call never goes to an agent, how did you get through?
I dialled in around 7:57 so that they can transfer me around 8am. I was frustrated too bcz they have never transferred my call in past. Also, try hiding your caller ID, i am not sure if that makes any difference but worked for. I may sound stupid here.

In my case, she said it was in the queue for printing. How many days does it take for printing?
I honestly don't know the time it takes for your passport to come out of printing, you can be at peace since they have started to work on your passports and 2 weeks timeframe has started ticking from 31-Jul.

You should get your passport atleast by 16-Aug, if they intend to keep up to their word (2 Weeks).

21 Calendar Days
16 Working Days since it was received, no updates

13 Months to get my PNP, 16 months after that to get the federal PR, not even counting the time to get a job that met the requirements of a PNP.
Paid about $25,000 in international student tuition fee and paying taxes and MSP premium (I live in BC) for the last 5 years. Been working a shitty job that I can't quit.

Compare that to a refugee who gets his/her PR in six months, claims all the government benefits and their kids go to free public schools.

So much for trying to immigrate the 'legal' way.:mad:

Guys, I think we will not see the tracking number activation. It is weird!

I sent mine on 19th July from USA to Ottawa and rhe actual receipt date was 20th July. No updates in my profile. No clue what's happening there. It's really difficult to get the agent on line.
